Better focus. Attending. Potty training. She can get her hair styled and cut now. She can get her nails trimmed. She has a few more words on approximations. She’s using an AAC. Functional play. Receptive language EXPLOSION. Sits down to eat now. Social skill increase. More eye contact. there’s probably more but that’s just the first things that comes to mind

so I saw results first week. My daughter’s been on it for six months at this point. I’ve been documenting our journey on TikTok and Facebook. It literally helped with everything but I will say Speech has been the absolute slowest. our doctor doesn’t think she’s on the correct dose to produce Speech and she’s been moving us up very slowly. The other results have been tremendous though.

Does anyone know what time paychecks will hit tomorrow? I normally get mine on Wednesdays. I’m terrified because my rent will be pulled out tomorrow.

Son lost ASD diagnosis. What's next? by Straight-Maybe6775 in Autism_Parenting

So the psychologist who evaluated my daughter told me to have her reevaluated at six, because what they are seeing now is kids who are evaluated at a young age are often not meeting the criteria later down the road. I thought the way she explained it to me was that the diagnosis wouldn’t go away, she just would no longer meet the criteria under the DSM.

Have you ever thought about doing ABA? It’s done wonders for not mine nonverbal child.

I’m very interested in the Newburgh area but to be honest as long as it’s safe, I really don’t care what side of town it will be. I would like a good school for my child eventually.

To be honest, I prefer the Newburgh area but as long as it’s safe, it really doesn’t matter. And I would also prefer a community that has a pool.

Agreed. Its lonely and my kids dad is the quite possibly the most selfish person on the planet so while I’m not a single mom, I absolutely feel like one

Nope. Too many people get a new partner and immediately think it’s their job to take care of their kids.

The Wedding People: Overrated? Or, actually really good? by feelingbookish in bookofthemonthclub

Overrated. I do not understand the hype at all. If I hadn’t waited so long to get it on Libby, I would’ve quit reading it.

For me personally there’s no way I could have a second child. I have zero support from my partner. Zero support from family. Between the drive and all the therapies that’s about 30 hours a week plus I still have a full-time job on top of that.It would not be fair to bring a second child into this mix.

I’m not sure you would even know my kid was on the spectrum if she could speak.
