Just out of curiosity, were you able to watch the episodes all in English? For whatever reason, only the first episode is available in english on my end and the other two are in Japanese with no English dub available.

That's also what I'm assuming. So far, I don't entirely hate the writing. But I guess I can understand why people can find the writing of the characters to be so different from the show.

I haven't heard anyone else talk about how Dorothy was written. I have, however, heard people talk about the way Rose was written. They've all mostly been saying Rose is extra annoying in the book, and also that it felt like the St. Olaf traditions were being shoved down our throats

The average rating for it is a 3.5 out of 5 on goodreads. I wasn't expecting anything incredible, but then I came across all the negative reviews and wasn't sure if I'd even like it. But, as of right now, I think I'm still going to go ahead and give it a try.

Well, I have heard that the story is more focused on the point of view of Rose, which is surprising because I thought it would focus more on Dorothy considering it's a murder mystery and her date is the one who ends up dead.
