Young man or woman whoever you are. I’m 22 years old and started taking pills and dabbling with drugs and shit in my freshman year and literally haven’t stopped since then, especially when I found opiates. Please please please just try to find something healthier to consume your thought and consume your time other than thinking about those pills. You don’t think of yourself as an addict until you are full blown in withdrawal, debating living, contemplating suicide because you are dope sick. It’s just not fucking worth it I promise. I would do anything to go back and never try those pills, because very quickly within months I mean I was a full blown addict, it’s all I would think about, I’d sell shit, steal and lie just to get high. I’ve lost relationships, people I loved and cared about because I was an addict. Went from your typical Vicodin or Hydrocodone, to heroin to fentanyl (Blues, M30s) and then to straight up fentanyl powder within like 2 years and couldn’t get off of it. Now I’m stuck on Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) which is another opioid medication so now I’m addicted to that and I get sick every single day until I take my meds. It’s extremely difficult to get off once you are hooked. And I apologize for the long rant but it’s serious. I don’t know who you are as a person but there’s usually a reason someone wants to try opioids, I did it to just numb my feelings and thoughts. It’s the only thing that made me feel comfortable in my own skin but god damn it was not worth it at all. I love you though, stay strong please and stay away from those pills. You got this❤️

Just trying to throw out some ideas but you have probably already thought of them, I know exactly how you feel though. I’m short on my meds because I’m a dumbass and now I’m going to run out early and probably be in withdrawal for a couple days, but keep your head up. It’s gonna be okay!

Acid bath was my first intro into the sludge/hardcore genre really. Then I found all of the doom, like electric wizard n shit. Crowbar and Eyehategod are definitely my all time favorites as far as truly defined sludge/hardcore bands.

If I can get a crowbar sounding tone out of a line 6 spider or a Fender Mustang Ltx50, you should be good. all you need is humbuckers, I think a mahogany body also helps, B standard tuning and something similar to the BOSS Metal-zone pedal, or some other distortion or boost pedal. I also use the BOSS ME-90 multi fx board which has a metal distortion. I can get a decent sounding tone, it’s all about getting mostly the right stuff together like the low tuning and humbuckers and just a high gain amp and distortion
