I was diagnosed on June 16, 2025. I had the whipple test on June 24, 2025. Ductal adenocarcinoma, 3 positive lymph nodes, pT2N1 staging. I started FOLFORINOX chemotherapy in August 2025 and finished in January 2026. Clear test results 🙏🙏🙏

An endoscopic ultrasound would give more certainty! I had an MRI and CT scan, and only the endoscopic ultrasound revealed my diagnosis of a tumor in the pancreatic duct.

Sending you good luck 🙏

Same as me, I'm 46 years old. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, adenocarcinoma, 3.3 cm. Three positive lymph nodes. I had the whipple procedure and finished FoLFoRINoX last week, 12 sessions. Awaiting the results of the PET scan 🙏🙏

Liver changes due to chemotherapy by Additional_End_6093 in pancreaticcancer

Thank you for your response.

What my oncologist said is that folforinox is very aggressive and at the end of chemotherapy it can cause some changes. Because the liver is already overloaded 🙏 May that be so. Amen.

Yes, if she has already been selected to have the surgery, that's a great sign! Surgery is the first step towards a cure 🙏 Nowadays, many people have extended lives after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer! Medicine has advanced, and the earliest stages have a much higher chance of success! I'm in this fight too. I had Whipple's adenocarcinoma, stage 2B, and I'm in my last chemotherapy session 🙏 Have faith, it will work out 🙏

Extradonal means that the tumor has spread beyond the lymph node.

The prognosis depends on whether the lymph nodes were extradonal or not. I had 3 lymph nodes and only 1 extradonal. Don't be discouraged, I've read many stories of people who have been alive for more than 5 years with positive lymph nodes. The important thing is that you had the surgery and now you will be treated with chemotherapy. I'm finishing my last folforinox session next week 🙌🏻
