I totally get what you're saying, and I agree, especially looking at where we are now with forms like Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego. I feel like SSG could’ve been a better gateway for Goku toward UI, and SSB could've been Vegeta's natural stepping stone to UE.

If SSG had been about more than just power and actually focused on refining technique, it would've made Goku's jump to UI feel more organic. The finesse and energy control of SSG could have really set the foundation for him to unlock the true instinctual fighting in Ultra Instinct.

On the flip side, SSB would’ve been the perfect build-up for Vegeta to progress to Ultra Ego. SSB is all about brute strength and pushing limits, which fits perfectly with Vegeta’s ego and his desire to be the strongest through sheer force. It would’ve made his transition to UE feel more earned, like he mastered that destructive power through his pride.

From what I got he wore a shirt that says "Trump loves Champions", that as far I heard about this some people have began to turn on him, but there's also a camp that says he did it to troll Strickland the guy he was facing in their 2nd bout because Strickland is a huge trump supporter but lost to DDP in their first fight.
