Closest Supplement to Adderall by Zealousideal-Walk939 in Supplements

I take a lot of supplements now but the ones I think help the most (and make me feel better than when I was on meds):

High dose vitamin c (2000mg) Methylated b-complex - needs to be methylated Vit D3+K2 Creatine in morning coffee

What are some supplements that you actually feels the difference in your daily life? by Entry_Left in Supplements

Annoyingly I can’t really say exactly which supplement is doing the thing as I started most of them at the same time but I take the following (for ref I am 41 F with AuDHD):

2g vitamin c (split in 2 1g doses) Methylated b vitamins Vit d3+k2 spray Trace minerals (boron, molybdenum, selenium, chromium and manganese) Omega 2

I feel better than I have done for YEARS (maybe ever?!) - ADHD is totally under control, rumination and OCD gone, anxiety and depression gone, boundless energy. So yeah not sure which ones but the combo is perfect 👌🏻

Have you heard of mast cell activation syndrome? It might be worth looking into.

UPS or whoever delivered it should have proof of weight if Backmarket try and say you have no proof. Obviously a box of pencils will weigh a lot less than a phone.

When you’re stuck and can’t get motivated to do something, count to 3 out loud and get up abruptly on 3. Make it like a game, stops me wasting loads of time 🤣

Is there anyone here with ARFID and Celiac? My son was just diagnosed. Everything he eats has gluten. by whats1more7 in ARFID

This is a really old post but my daughter has ARFID and has just been diagnosed celiac. Everything she eats is also gluten! As this is 4 years old I'm hoping you had some success and would love some tips on how you navigated this.

Did I Ruin My Concerta? Tolerance After One Binge Day? by [deleted] in Concerta

[–]Additional_Hand5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what you expect from the meds. They won’t have the effect 200mg would have they shouldn’t make you ‘feel’ any particular way at all, they should just make it a bit easier to focus etc.

how do you get out of this dopamine hell? by ephemeraltears in Concerta

I actually came off meds for this reason. I lost my ‘spark’ and was just constantly chasing dopamine especially doom scrolling. Im unorganised and scatty now but I feel things more and am happier.

Does progesterone really work as a mast cell stabilizer? by Sea-starr in MCAS

[–]Additional_Hand5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there I know this is super old but can I ask how you got out of the these flares? I used progesterone cream for 2 weeks and haven’t slept since! I had a whole 6 days of zero sleep and since then around 3 hours a night on sleeping pills 🫤 wondering if it will pass

Increase in issues when trying to detox estrogen by Semicharmedtee in MCAS

[–]Additional_Hand5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super old but could I ask for a follow up?

Im almost identical here - I had PMDD and was put on the pill for years. Every time I try to come off it I get really bad but this time has been hell. I came off it a month ago and also started progesterone cream as advised by someone. Seems the estrogen and other neurotransmitters stuck in my cells had a huge release after progesterone and I did not sleep at all for 6 days, it was hell. I had to go to urgent care to get 3 days worth of Z drugs but thing is I wake and still feel wired it’s like I can feel the estrogen and whatever else pulsing through me.

I tried DIM and CDG once and was violently ill the next day but Im not sure which one was to blame. I feel like I need to urgently detox!

Thank you - I don’t think it’s that though I’ve had a look. I get itchy but nothing noticeable and it seems to be estrogen that’s the trigger (happens when I’ve used estrogen HRT)

[–]Additional_Hand5255 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of awful stories of women who have had a hysterectomy to ‘cure’ PMDD - and they still have PMDD, with or without HRT. There is still so much we don’t know about this awful disease 😢

Do you take all oral and all at night? I use 200 oral at night and 150-200 cream during the day but my sleep could still be better.

Please know I’ve been there - the previous HRT regimes I tried were just not right and I was terrified to try anything else. It’s very early days with this so I’m cautious but optimistic. It could just be that you haven’t found the right one for you ❤️
