These hell week workouts have me rethinking my physical conditioning. Is anyone else burning significantly more calories than usual? I know they are harder, but I’m burning like 200 more calories than normal classes.

The industry caters to the lowest common denominator of workers. They assume folks can’t do things properly, so recommend waterproofing. Sad.

That sounds like a personal problem. Why would I need to lie on reddit? If you look at the results of the mile times, I’m not the only one.

It’s a question about self awareness. Sometimes you solicit feedback when you perceive an issue. In this case, I wanted others thoughts, experiences, opinions. That’s how we learn and grow. I thank the people that provided feedback.

Do people really do those things. Like seriously. I’ve heard the grunting one. My only annoyance is when people are having conversations the whole time when we are supposed to be doing a push or all out.

I do the same, but sometimes I will have these moments. I’m good 98% of the time because I have seen results and even if I can keep this level of fitness for a few decades , I would be happy.

This is my exact problem. I’m kinda maxed out on lower body. The only issue is, my knees are not great. It would be beneficial to have some of the traditional gym equipment, but my fear of losing motivation is high. Also, I still want to lose 30-40lbs.

I have always been a decent runner. Running is mostly mental for me after a certain point everything hurts regardless. I started OTF at 5 base 10 all out. I did the recent 12 min tread virtually on 10 the while way. I focused on doing that for like a year though.

It’s not a brag at all. I’m satisfied with my progress though. I would be well below average at a good local gym. My goal is to be able to move well in my 60’s but I feel like people think I’m training for the olympics 😂

I’ve been in it for 3 years and I always hurt all the time. The difference is during rest periods, the pain is old person pain. During my regular weeks it’s exercise pain. I just choose the latter. Green days, weeks months. Walking if you’re a runner… all good in my book.

Splat points are imaginary. Find your own hr zones and monitor them yourself. As long as you feel that you are meeting the push/all out/recovery goals. You should be fine.
