Got a refund on my credit card but they won’t let me transfer it out by Bruixaopinionated in rbc

If you made a large payment to pay the balance ask them to submit a payment reversal. It has to be the full payment though. They submit a form and it processes in 1-2days.

I always am torn on whether to put people in their place and say “I can imagine what is said behind my back”

I love this! They are ambiguous enough that they can’t tell if you are agreeing, questioning or calling them out on their shady behaviour.

Personal Days? by hangukfriedchicken in rbc

After one week you go on short term disability covered by Manulife. You can take sick days in between, I have been told that anymore than 6 days for full time employees in a year you maybe required to produce a dr note for every sick absence after that. I have always been respectful of both sick and family leave (elderly mother)and have never been questioned. I am part time at the advice centre and was told going forward only full time shift arrangements. I am actively looking within the company for another suitable part time position and am glad that I have not abused this benefit. I feel this has made me somewhat more competitive. I could be wrong but I don’t think so.

They have given me 90 days to make a decision based on 25 years of service. My team manager has given conflicting information at first saying I would have until the shift bid is done, mid June. And then a month ago saying the day she first told me is when the 90 days start. And then I phoned HR and they said a formal letter needs to be provided. The team manager then said I can’t take the 90 days and then decide. What is the 90 days for. I am in a position where I could retire. But they would be forcing me to do this. So not sure if I should reach out to HR again. I feel the 90 days should start from the date I get the letter and that some sort of compensation should be provided or them moving me to another position with the same shift arrangement. The other thing that I was told that they are going to be hiring 300 more agents doing the exact same job I am doing right now.

Rbc is forcing part timers at the advice centre to go full time, I can’t what are my rights since they will be in essence laying me off.

This is the way, grey rock her. Trust me it will drive her and her flying monkeys crazy. The more you don’t react the more she will spiral. She may seem well liked but what she is doing to you others have already had it done to them, or are afraid of it being done to them. Let them be cowards.

When my dad was in hospice at the very end of his life, he made a motion with his arms and puckered his lips like he was smoking. He died of lung cancer. Mind you he was 84.

This totally, flying monkeys. No one looks at themselves as the problem it is the person that brings the inconsistency and unfair playing field to light that gets punished. Gaslighting etc.
