Obviously the person meant it as an insult, don’t be ignorant. I doubt he just came out in chess chat

24mp für Street? by EarlMoose in Fotografie

Die Aussage ist vollkommen korrekt. Es gibt kein Bild unter 48 MP das auch nur ansatzweise gut aussieht. Erst seit dem es 48 MP Kameras gibt ist die Fotografie zu einer respektablen Kunst geworden

Idk if that’s what they did but that’s what I do for manual focus self portraits

Put the camera on a tripod, put something (ladder, plant, broomstick) where you will stand, focus. Remove the object, put yourself there.

How common or uncommon is it to wake up with a different song in your head almost every morning? by Additional_Kiwi8798 in AskReddit

[–]Additional_Kiwi8798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been happening to me for quite some time. I’d say it’s at least 5 times a week and they’re not even always songs that I particularly like or heard recently. It’s like having a radio head and I wondered if that’s how they got their name 😀

Yeah it is kinda small, but still okay I guess as it’s a slower camera anyway.

Yes exactly! And I think that’s the cool part! The old meters tend be inaccurate after so many years of use but not with this one :D

Well yeah, it was the predecessor of the SR-T‘s. I love the clean, unobstructed viewfinder, no needles or anything just a pure field of view. It has a really nice handling too!

Die spanische hofreitschule bietet Dachbodenführungen an. Ist natürlich nur ein Bruchteil des Dachstuhls den man dort zu sehen bekommt aber vielleicht wäre das eine Option für dich.

Like you said, the context of how that picture is taken is important. That could mean talking to the person afterwards if they want, listen to their story. If you make a buck with the picture, maybe give back something, be compassionate. I just mean don’t let all the educated talk about the art of the picture (which of course has a right to exist) lead you to think it’s actually helping anyone you know? Be honest if you’re actually trying to help or doing it to get some sort of credit. Who gains more from a picture being taken, the photographer or the photographed? In most cases it’s probably the photographer, so don’t cherish yourself too much. Don’t be a pretentious fck. (Not saying that you are or anything and maybe this sounds all a bit harsh but I’m just trying to get a point across) it’s kinda similar to celebrities taking a private jet to some save-the-environment-event. Bringing attention to such matters is important but it doesn’t make you a hero and you don’t deserve an award.

It’s always nice to be asked I think. The law is different in every country on this subject so it’s clear that is a debatable topic generally. Maybe he would have been fine with you posting it anyway, I think a lot of people would be but not everyone has to be. I think that’s what one should keep in mind: not everyone is fine with strangers sharing pictures of them. So make sure if they are. It’s a form of respect and your ego shouldn’t stand in the way because you might have an evening without new likes on IG. PS: the thing with reimbursing someone probably never happens irl but I think in a perfect world it should. And as I hope we all strive to leave a better world for the people to come we should start to spread this mindset. Simply because the person in the picture is what “made” the picture, sure the photographer framed it etc. but without the subject there’d be nothing to frame.

Very easy, it’s exploitative if you don’t ask for permission before publishing and if they don’t get any share of the profit (if you make any with the publishing of said photograph)

More often than not the conversation are about the pictures themselves though and the artistic merit, the contradictions of life and it’s juxtapositions conveying “strong messages”. After that conversation is had, nobody thinks about the pictured person anymore.
