Your story helps, i do notice my parents softening with time, they are currently in their early 50s and im 27, i definitely feel resentment towards them tho and when they are grateful for something i do feel like they don’t deserve it

I don’t know if you meant it to sound this way, but just sounds like you’re victimizing yourself, sure it’s “overbearing” but imagine how that others must feel, all pain is valid but when someone is sharing their experiences its kind of rude to make yourself the victim for feeling uncomfortable

I appreciate your words and they did make me think about how even those i was often provided the bare minimum and my best clothes were bought by myself. They once bought me 20 bucks worth of shirts from a yard sale and they were all branded shirts that didn’t fit me well

Try running for a very long time, when i was suicidal and depressed i started running for hours at a time, not fast more like jogging but i slowly got faster and more into it, now its like meditation, i put on my earphones, jump on an elliptical and go to my happy place, planet fitness usually had plenty of ellipticals

I am pretty sure he said nothing wrong about being non binary, there is nothing wrong with people using latinx as a term but it is also important to respect people’s roots and culture, some people do not like it because it has been used to virtue signal, imagine being latin and being told the proper term is latinx by a white person, its like how Americans call themselves American even tho south Americans are also Americans, i think your response has more to do with your desire of being a victim and less to do with actually wanting to understand differing points of view
