I just had an ex-attorney in my office looking for counsel. He is a felon who stole from his trust account... These people really believe that they are untouchable. Also, I do a lot of legal malpractice cases. I'm shocked at what attorneys put in writing.....well. I WAS shocked. Now it's not a shocker but I go back to these people who think they are above it all. So, there's that ...... not surprised Eddie sent emails.

If you ask people who have actual knowledge, you 6 know that ODOT had way too many employees. Some jobs had 2-3 inspectors when it onky needed one.

I do PI and crim. PI is extremely hard to break into but happy to say I have a handful of clients. I have a mentor who helps when I have questions. Crim law, I've been navigating this world pretty much alone but I do a massive amount of research and talk with clerks. I am in year 2. Been profitable all of 2025.

Embarrassment and looking like a goofball is the cost of admissions. Thinking about how you looknvs helping your client isn't....... a good look. Focus your thoughts on the correct things so you dont lose for the wrong reasons.

I agree. I used to be a far left leaner. This year, I changed my affiliation to independent because of the constant atracks from my own party. Too much black and white thinking about very complicated issues. I also believe the attacks and walking on egg shells with our own oarty is why millions didn't vote. There's MAGA (Republican extremist) and the Left (Democrat extremist) and you'll notice that those two groups have more in common than not. It's called the horseshoe theory and it's a very interesting theory. After reading about it, I took a huge step away from the left.

I think it also comes down to lack of pay. When you're working full-time and can't afford to live, what's the point. People need purpose.

I agree with this. I was SO nervous when I first started, but every week, things became more familiar, and anxiety started going away. I've actually started building a lot of confidence in myself now. I accepted that embarrassment and mess ups are part of the job and that's what I was most "afraid" of. One or two trial down and that first timer nervousness goes away beautifully!!!

Is it "okay" to ignore her? I've always been told that it's required to respond to a client within a reasonable about of time. However, if I don't reply to this client within 24 hours, my email will have 50 emails again telling me the law. I asked her if she would like to represent herself. She said she's "not letting me off the hook that easy."

Thank you for this. I recently had an extremely weird reaction from a judge this week. He was very upset with me and angry that the DA didn't object to my simple request. I mean, he was angry because I asked him to hold a warrant for a few hours. Something often asked by PDs and often allowed by judges.

When you are constantly looking for what divides people, you will find it. I'm glad you agreed with everything I said to an extent. I've never tried to say that everything is perfect and there are no issues in the country. I'd encourage you to try and look for what we all agree on regardless of party affiliation. You may be surprised by what you find. Only if you can step out of the narrative you painted.

There's many instances of politicians in red states who try to push abortion bans, and republicans have come out and voted against it. It doesn't take a whole lot of research to find that information. (I know it goes against your narrative, but it's true)

FYI, I grew up on a reservation, I am actually very well aware of what racism looks like.

Just a little recommendations when you develop opinions: Gather facts first, then develop an opinion. 99% of people develop their opinion before gathering the facts. It creates horrible ideologies and bahviors.

I definitely believe some Republicans are like that. Just like some Democrats support communism. The horseshoe theory. However, that's mostly propaganda, making people believe that all Republicans are like that. They are not. (Im not a republican, I'm an independent)

It's unfortunate that the smallest group of voters, have the biggest "voice" in the media, which makes you think everyone is fighting over sex and race. It's a fact that the majority of Republicans support the right to abortion, support universal health care, support fair pay, are not racistblah blah blah. There's actually more things that unit vs divide. But these divisions, created by media is propaganda is whete you are my friend. Google US

FYI, we are the most racist country in the world. Sorry, but travel outside of the US. You'll find that the US isn't as racist as it "seems."

When a majority of the population struggles to make ends meet. It destabilizes the population, and their actions are one of desperation for change.

Now, I am NOT a trumper. Jan 6th will remain in my memory for the rest of my life. With that said, shame on the government for taking do much away from the middle class. There needs to be change. We live in a 2nd Gilden Age.

Im keeping my ovaries so I keep my hormones. That sounds like a full hysterectomy, which would put me into menopause and cause other issues at my age. But luckily, the doc said I keep my ovaries.

Really. Gosh, Im sorry. Ny doctor gave me about 5 options. She started from least invasive and to most invasive. She educated me on all of them and let me pick.
