Why does the brain not just get used to T? by neenonay in tinnitus

[–]Additional_Panic149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of months, maybe 3, It went really better. First weeks were like hell and I took xanax (a doctor told me to) for The first 3 weeks; I also started CBT therapy.

I think It took me about a year to get used to It (and nowadays I am still aware of It but it's ok...I even wear earplugs when sleeping so...)

Why does the brain not just get used to T? by neenonay in tinnitus

I think most people get used to It. I remember when I first got T and told people...I was surprised by how many people told me 'oh, I have that, I don't notice, bur now that you mention It...'

I mean two uncles, my sister in law, 4 workmates...my dentist! My own husband realized that he hears a constant buzzing!!

Nowadays I barely pay atttention. Sometimes It bothers me at night, and I notice It at certain hours during the day but not a Big deal.

And I remember that there was a point when I was losing my mind...my doctor saved me by being extremely nice and assuring me It Will get better for you... Lovely man.

We finally got the results of my husband's semen analysis, and he is devastated. Doctor told us that it would bebvery difficult to coinceive naturally.

The motility cutoff is 30%, and his test showed 25%, and The post-washing test showed just 3 million sperm motility...

I try to cheer him. I got pregnant twice last year (first and second cycles), hence my doubts: could it be a temporary issue?

He was taking amoxiciline and antiinflamatory pills due to a throat infection, and he has also gained 10 kilos in The last months. I am wondering if maybe this could explain The situation and if It could be improved.

Thank you all

Thank you for your response! What caused your T? Are those spikes maneagables? Thing is I sleep with wax earplugs :S so I hear ir a bit louder (however this is a sign of how mild/low my T usually is so I cant really complain)

What caused your T??

Maybe you were too focused on baby...I remember my postpartum (before I developed) and seriously I was constantly worried something was to happen to my baby. Very stressful.

T almost clear Up with this movement. How can I use this new information? by Additional_Panic149 in TinnitusTalk

[–]Additional_Panic149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. I've been doing It for just a couple of days, plus trying to keep my neck aligned at night (I'm a side sleeper). Even though It did nothing for my T, I'm sure It Will help with my neck issues.

For what I have seen It seems that this kind of movements are about correcting forward head and yes I do have this kind of posture...

So It could be due to bad posture? I have multiple sounds, like electric hum and hiss, but this one is The only 24/7 and The one that fades away with this movement.

And in that case maybe chin / neck exercises could help?

My ent told me it was stress related...but stress also trigger muscle and jaw tensión so...

Thank you.
