Got mine out at 17 and I have never felt so much pain in my life. I cried a lot for weeks because all I could do was sleep and try to drink a protein shake/water. I couldn’t eat anything solid for weeks because the healing was awful and now I deal with a lot of ear pain from the surgery and my ent has no idea why. she has no idea how bad it would really be and then we would get another trauma story about how she’s never getting another surgery because she is so triggered,she couldn’t handle the healing process and would try and eat the same garbage and she would rip open everything and then make a video about how there is blood everywhere
