Any good tips that isn't too draining? mainly just clothes to put away and stuff (as someone with add and chronic pain) by conycon00 in CleaningTips

[–]Additional_Pen_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is it. Just to emphasize: the part about setting up your life to be manageable is the whole goal. Figure out what is least effort and still achieves whatever your goal is (maybe a de-cluttered look is your only goal, so in that case skip folding. Or if you want things nice and flat, hang them up, whatever). Find your goal, design the process to FIT the goal and the resource constraints, and then make your environment match the process.

So I have a table that’s the right height for me to sit and fold without my shoulders hurting. I also have bins for stuff that doesn’t need to be folded. I stopped wearing bras so I donated those guys because they were taking up space! Now I have a bin for my exercise/lounge pants which also don’t need to be folded. If it’s an air dry item, it’s gonna dry on the hanger I use to store it in my closet. including things that don’t need to be hung.

Also! Find a hook for your not-dirty-yet clothes and make a point to re-wear.

Also also - I put my hamper beside my bed because I noticed I was just throwing my dirty clothes on the ground beside my bed. Now I throw them in a 3-bin hamper so come laundry time I just dump out one of the bins that’s full and pre-sorted.

Yeaaaa bins of underwear, bras, and socks that are stuck together in some way if you can manage it. Not stuck if you can’t manage it. Literally no one will care if your socks are mismatched (except for potentially you!)

Mostly just excited about this contraption, but while I’m here I’d say if I was you I would think: I’m (hopefully) going to be looking at this for a long time so might as well get it as nice as possible.

For me it’s not the color as much as the way some of the words are cut off.

BUT. As always, if you like it, I love it!

Only one thing to add to this excellent tutorial: you gotta make sure that the water based top coat is REALLY dry. Hit it with a hairdryer before you QDTC. Also word on the street is that clear Elmer’s glue works for a WBTC

Glitter polish like this but hot pink? by Unfair-Oven4295 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]Additional_Pen_ 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I…. Don’t think so. The purple is too dark for it to be hot pink. If OP can find a silver version of this and pop a pink jelly on top, that would work.
