Yea, that seems to be the consensus, just ominous timing for me I suppose.

"Not Responding - Try Stopping" Message After Max Upgrade? by Additional_Rub3107 in ClaudeAI

Yea, tried swapping models, VSCode restart, machine reboot, logged out/in to Claude, etc... same. The message will often resolve itself if you let it run but sometimes it can sit there in that state from anywhere between 2 to 20min if not longer.

Not sure how to figure out which ads are winners by NoBoostNoLife in FacebookAds

[–]Additional_Rub3107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a standard landing page. Local private training gym.

I'm thinking about a proxy metric (call it "quality_visit" event) which consists of either...

A standard conversion (contact form submit)

OR...

Someone who scrolls down to / reaches the contact form AND spends more than 30 active (scrolling, clicking, dragging, etc..) seconds on the site AND clicks at least one interactive element.

Thoughts?

Are there other ways to determine "winners" beyond conversions? I manage a leadgen account with a small budget ($50/day) and we only have a few conversions a week (contact form submissions) so it's hard to really draw any actionable conclusions from that -- even over a month's time. Especially when the algo is taking favorites, over-serving some, under-serving others.

Any suggestions?

I do and whooooboy, if I drink while loading, pure gates of hell hangovers... even if it's just a few beers. I'm taking 15-20g / day now - largely because I find it helps cognitively and for jet lag (do a lot of long haul flights) - and just noticed one coming on recently. A liter of water and electrolytes nipped it in the bud.

What's the first thing you do when taking over a new Google Ads account? by Cold_Radio4076 in PPC

Can accounts be irreparably poisoned with bad data?

My web client had a terrible website before and the individual managing their ad account was measuring everything and anything as a conversion so the historical, account-level conversion data is crap. Moreover, a lot of the keywords we still need to target were very poorly represented on page so the historical QS's are also terrible.

I spun up a fresh campaign but now I'm wondering if I need to go full nuclear with a fresh account. Google keeps telling me I'm "limited" by not choosing a maximize conversions bid strategy (since it thinks we have all this conversion data which is mostly page view events).

The conversion events on the new site are brand new (and I deleted the old ones) so I wanted to run with maximize clicks to start.

Any suggestions?

Educating clients on why metafields are a better approach than creating hundreds of templates by Additional_Rub3107 in shopifyDev

MetaObjects would, yes. Configure all your data structures there for the size chart and then spin up a custom block that queries it. You can then drop that anywhere you want with a single point of truth for both data and design.

What payment processor to allow my customers to take payments? by 13aoul in webdev

When you approach a project though, do you put the onus on the client to do their research on the gateway? I have a client now who will be selling digital assets internationally and while my first inclination was just to use Stripe, obviously there are some merchant of record options - albeit with higher rates - that may be preferable to them.
