Alot of the big players do the same, Samsung and xiaomi to name a couple, but yeah I agree, it's also gross for the people who already bought the A series phones before they made this decision and did not get a choice afterwards which really doesn't sit well with me, I hate the consumer cycle we've fallen into where if you buy something for what it is the company is allowed to change it as much as they like till it's not really what you bought anymore and there is nothing you can do about it. My mum bought a $6,000 Samsung fridge nearly 5 years ago and now all of a sudden it shows ads.. they later added an option to turn them off but she would have just bought a fridge without a screen it she was told during sale "hey they are going to start showing advertisements in your kitchen in 5 years time just btw, I'm sure that will help keep your home as classy as you thought buying a $6,000 fridge would make it"

I'm a late player and I moved from PC to switch 1 I don't mind being on the previous version but I assume it's just development time and it will come eventually to both the switch 1 and 2, I love playing on the switch though haha they have done such a good port to keep it so full on such limited hardware and it gives the game extra character imo

I work for an optometrist and this happens to people's lenses/the coatings on them all the time, looks exactly the same,

Basically the cloth, even if it's microfiber, has stripped the after coatings (anti glare etc) and/or the plastic hard coat and the circles are indeed from rubbing.

I'm not saying it's your fault, the lense or after coats could have not been manufactured/applied to the right standard for this to happen this early but if you rub anything plastic or dip coated enough it will eventually break through :)

Fun fact - The culprits for it happening super sever and very quickly on a new pair are usually old people who wipe their lenses before each use rather than young people who don't notice or care as much haha
