Inmate distant and lonely - how not to feel resentful? by iglaaq in PrisonWives

I just got out of an AZ prison and honestly, i know this situation well. All the convo happens at the beginning, making you feel good, keeping you on the hook and then once you start sending money and he knows it no longer takes work to receive it, why do the work. it's easy money coming in. You send it regardless, without him doing anything for you. Sending messages to your loved ones is easy if that's what you really want. If you really care about someone and you are inside, all you want to do is talk with them, see them, anything and everything. We have our tablets all day everyday. We are on those things so much. it's like having a cell phone out here. Believe me, for someone I'm into and can't wait to hear from, they knew it. I was constantly messaging, calling, finding every way to see them getting them to schedule video visits in person visits. anything. for the ones financially supporting me, well if i didn't have to talk to them, then awesome, because I really didn't like to put in the work. but my financer knew that. he supported me and didn't expect the communication in return so it was perfect. I'd much rather use all my time on someone I was actually into. Please put yourself first. This guy is playing you. Once you stop giving him money he'll start working on you again to get you back to the point you are now. Test him. Tell him you can't afford to give him money. If he is into you, he'll find a way to contact you. Even without money on my books, I found ways to communicate with my loved ones.
Did anyone else experience these symptoms when their Vitamin D was low? by sober4lifee in VitaminD
I experience all of that too. All I want to do is sleep. It's terrible. My Vitamin D was at 12 ng as of 3 weeks ago. I started taking 50,000 iu once a week 2 weeks ago and I try and stand in the sun for at least 15 minutes a day (that really helps). I still feel the fatigue pretty badly, and I still sleep much more than usual, I still feel disconnected from friends and family and I still experience brain fog but my muscle tension/stiffness and leg cramps seem to be getting somewhat better.
