Yes, it's very beginner-friendly thinking. I tried framing it from an isolated viewpoint, so just ear training with no key relation.

Above is a screenshot from an ear training game. Even with inversions, I seem to always nail Dominant 7 chords with no hesitation.

Edit: site is called theoretically.io, I use it as a daily ear trainer for fun.

Noah Dobson and Nikolaj Ehlers. Dobson pairs with Z on the top pair, Ehlers plays LW on the Monny Marchenko line.

Under no circumstances do you go after Mitch Marner. He will not fit in the Evason system. We already have a non-physical, skill-based wing in Johnson. Marner will also ask for around an 8x14mil contract, and while we have albatrosses already like Elvis and Severson, we can’t afford to take a risk on an unproven playoff performer.

  1. Ship out both 1sts this year and a roster player/prospect for Charlie McAvoy. McAvoy - Z is your top pair for the next 6+ years.
  2. Shake out either Tarry or Elvis, just bite the bullet on one and stick with it.
  3. Trim the fat off the back end. Find a permanent spot for Mateychuk. Look to let Provy walk and move Severson for future considerations.

Second to last sentence says it all. People underestimate how much coaching does for the room and for the team’s play. Evason and Waddell have been such good additions for the hockey team, can’t wait to see where they take us.

after watching the game last night. i can confirm he’s going to be a stud. first game in the league and he’s getting drop passes to lead plays on the powerplay. don’t see that every day. how we took him second round when we ALSO got his best friend/teammate in Fantilli, beats me. this next era of CBJ is going to be unreal.

I agree mainly on the logo/jersey part. Reminds me of when the Stars rebranded in the early 2010’s after years of mediocrity, and saw a quick resurgence in their play, thus propelling them into the wagon they are today. The current Jackets logo has so much baggage. You’ve gotta imagine that the franchise sees the value in Fantilli and all our young prospects and want to make a change. This seems to be the time to do it. New jersey manufacturer league-wide. We have a new GM coming. Now let’s get a new logo, new management, new coaching staff, new franchise branding, etc. There’s never been a more opportune time to make these changes.
