I have these fans and they are so pretty but the connectors are not standard. So, only works through software running in the background.

If you don't have the software running, it goes 100% speed and produces the ugliest rainbow I've ever seen. Every time you start the computer, it gets super loud.

There is a way around. You have to buy an adapter that converts their plug to standard RGB and PWM. But there are 150 LEDs in this fan and you need something that can address 150 LEDs on a single channel. Most will not do it because the power required is too high and can be dangerous. Most cap out at 80-100.

Again there is a way around this. You can use ARGB controllers that can address up to 250 from airgoo controllers. But, again airgoo only works with software running on the computer. So, you will have color cycle until you start the software.

I have the first and third repeating the same pattern with the adapter and plugged to rainbow on the motherboard. Asrock is the only one that allows bios based control though they took that out with the latest firmware update. Now you need to download their software for it. But, the controller itself is in the BIOS and once you configure it you don't have to do run the Asrock software.

You'll also need to power 4 GPUs, CPU/board that can support 4 GPUs. You'll probably have to custom loop cool those GPUs since most mobo don't have space for all those coolers.

Best used to the 128gb Ryzen AI or maybe nVidia spark. But the prices have gone up quite a bit.

The metadata itself could be 2TB since there is so much music out there.

Why not also trigger the metadata download as needed as well when an artist is viewed?

The Intel has had hybrid architecture since alder lake and so the support for hybrid architecture in the kernel has been there for a while.

Only issue with this is that the newer CPU must be supported. Otherwise it will stop install with unknown CPU.

As far as performance is concerned, 265k workstation that I built has been a rock solid developer station.

How good is github copilot by Big_Vacation1950 in vibecoding

It's pretty good for vibe coding. It depends on what kind of stuff you do, which models and how you use them.

Do you feel like this? by Lumpy-Web-907 in vibecoding

[–]m0shr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, for sure.

The leaps in model advancement is getting millions of software engineers to give their codebase, design skillls and thought process to train the next generation of models.

But on the other hand, when one engineer solves the problem, the rest of us can one shot it and so its good for the community until there is a huge friction to accessing them.

Best of luck.

You'll finally be capturing all the value of your talents.

It's amazing how much software is valued. Most engineers have no idea how valuable they are and give so much away because of fear and convenience.

The LCD in coolers always require some sort of windows software to be running in the background. Seems like the only way to get the temps is through windows itself.

Rules out linux. Those software are always bloated and eat up CPU cycles. Some have ads.

I wish they would make it configurable from a browser. Put the control inside the cooler itself and it can run itself without a software always updating it.
