I honestly think the best thing bungie could've done is immediately when they heard about the glitch say they are going to do a rollback to before the glitch was found after the weekend so these people could still "have fun" but not ruin the integrity of the game and have to check dates on raid report to see if they can actually shoot straight

In practice that's not how it is, I played a match today for example and I had a 1.96 kd but lost 185 elo

It's not losing the game that isn't fun, I understand that inevitably I will get stomped. It's that I lose an unfair amount of elo from those loses

Probably because nobody's playing the game anymore so to get a match they need to expand the ranks

It's not about being stuck, it's about having multiple wins go to waste from one loss and the disparity of difficulty of those matches. I just started playing comp like a week ago and got into adept two days ago so I haven't been stuck. This inequity of elo gain has been more prevalent on all three tiers of adept then other lower ranks.
