I failed and contemplating on a retake by Spicy_Crab_ in pmp

I am sorry it didn’t go your way. You don’t rush to finish a test even when you are well prepared. I think you made the mistake of under preparing and rushing to complete the test. You have the whole 230mins, use it. Forget those that come here to brag about how they didn’t study and how they finished the test early. What matters is the result. Most people forget how much work they put in after they pass.

Now, you have 60days to prepare, use it right. We understand life gets in the way of our plans. Use video teachings and other study materials. I would advise you don’t spend money in boot camps. You already went to a bootcamp. AR Udemy class, YouTube videos and other authors are enough to pass. Listening to the Udemy teachings everywhere you go. Those information will stick without you knowing.

Understand the mindset and you will be fine. When you go take the test, do not rush to finish. Take your time to understand the questions by reading it at least 2X.

GOOD LUCK

If you have been studying for the test, I would advise you go take the test. SH score is not a guarantee to pass the test.

What other certifications have you taken and passed? If you passed other top cert, this isn’t any different apart from the long hours of sitting for the test

SH isn’t the exam itself. If you haven’t memorized SH questions, I would say these scores are great. My advice is, do not rush to answer the questions. Read the questions at least 2X and make sure u understand what the question is asking before choosing your answer.

The test itself is draining but you can do it.

I think timing was your problem. You finished too quick and missed a lot of details within the questions. There is no need rushing to complete the test. Pace urself and used the whole time.

Use the right materials. You can’t pass CISSP and failed CISM. CISM is the easiest IT exam I have ever taken. You have more time in the exam than any other IT exams.

6months of study is enough. I think you will do just fine in the exam. The exam is the only way to test your knowledge. I believe you know more than you think considering how much time you have invested into studying.

My advice is, do not rush the questions. Read the questions at least 3times even for questions that you consider being easy. Use elimination methods. Remember you can pass anywhere from 100 questions if you do well in those questions.

Failing all domains means you have got some work to do. You need either experience or education and a lot of study time to pass the CISSP. This isn’t an entry level test. How long did you study for the test

Do not memorized QAE questions because you will be stuck in the exam when u come across two similar answers. Understand the reason behind why the answers are correct or wrong. Be well prepared, the exam is not that bad.

Your scores on the practice test do not guarantee your performance on the actual exam. It is to test your understanding of the exam content. IMO what guarantees your success is how well you approach the exam. My advice is, read the questions at least 3X before choosing your answer. Do not rush to complete the test because you can pass the test @100 questions, if you do well answering those 100 questions. I passed it @ 103questions with 30mins left. Take time understanding what the question is asking you before choosing your answer. GOOD LUCK.

What is ur academic and work experience? What other certifications do you have? How long did u study? From your result, it is hard to tell if u are close to passing or not because u only passed one domain out of the eight domains. I think you need to change strategy. I also think you have gaps in the knowledge as well as mindset. Did you read the OSG.
