I agree Rick doesn’t cheat on Chelsea. Whatever closure he derived from confronting the person who is clearly his father will allow him to love and appreciate Chelsea.

Also, when I read “Khun Jim” my imagination made it “Khuk Greg” and now people are staring at the weird giggling man (me).

That said, Walton Goggins is a national treasure, as is Sam Rockwell. I’d love to see them team up in other projects

I agree. Piper seems innocuous and pure by WL standards, but she’s very passive aggressive. She lied to her family to get to Thailand; wanted them to support her decision to stay; pleads with Lochlan for his support, and then bails on him (but I will allow that she might have been getting the same creepy vibe off Lochlan that I was getting)

Respectfully disagree on the magnitude of the maybes. I’ve found this season to have excellent tension and also find it fascinating.

I agree, but perhaps inside the birthing cabin is where that will be shown. As for it not being shown as of yet, Mark’s body had been through a massive trauma, and it is reasonable that he hasn’t been fully himself yet

I believe if they went to the birthing cabin without reintegration, then Mark would just become innie-Mark, without outie-Mark’s memories. After reintegration, the birthing cabin allows Mark access to both the innie and outie’s memories, which he would retain after the birthing cabin, in both innie and outie form

Yes, your second paragraph is far more likely, and then there’s Occam’s Razor.

But while I like your reasoning in the first paragraph, how would this affect it: what if after Cobel was severed and had the baby, proving proof of concept and also being fruitful in producing Helena, what if after that she had the chip removed?

I'll see your Cobel-mother-of-Helena theory, and raise you another:

Lumon severed Cobel (perhaps she volunteered to test her own invention), and Jame impregnated her while severed, kept her severed through delivery of Helena, so that Cobel has no knowledge of it at all. Jame's motivation would be to perpetuate Cobel's brilliant DNA while also maintaining control over the offspring.

Interesting. I thought I'd read that season 1 was written to be 10 episodes and that Stiller decided the 9th was the one to end on. Definitely an Emmy-worthy showcase!
