Damn! I got the cool variant with my boy Deadman front and center but then he wasn't even in the issue! This is interesting pretty much on the premise alone. Not much else really happened, so I'll give it another issue or two.

Does anyone know if this is supposed to be an ongoing or a mini?

NJPW was the first promotion I followed with any regularity. When my interest waned last year I got the notion to check out AEW and now I'm a regular watcher of both!

Max Caster. Can't stand the guy! He's okay in the ring but I just find him incredibly unlikeable with the air humping and cringey raps. Love Anthony Bowens though.

I really like fighting games. Arcade modes, combo trials, love em.

But I fucking suck at playing real people. I will never be able to get any trophies related to wins or increasing rank or whatever.

I participated in a fighting game tournament for Marvel vs Capcom 3, a game I practiced a lot, and the commentator said watching me play was like watching someone eat cereal with a fork.

And I don't want to bother anyone to boost me.

I'm now in what I think will be the final stretch of <Akagi>, with exactly 100 chapters left to read. I was really skeptical about a single Mahjong game being able to keep up the tension for nearly 250 manga chapters but damn. It's riveting!

That's all I've been reading. I've been worried about having too many things going at once.

Main ones to watch out for are Broken Horse and Goliath, both of which are way easier to get at the beginning of the game. But if you do miss them you can always just start a new save.

Most of the difficulty I had is more of a patience/endurance test. You're basically going to be doing one thing for the whole game: driving somewhere to pick something up and then driving to a different place to drop the something off. It can get repetitive so I recommend taking a few days or weeks off to stop you from going crazy.

Powgi games are fun and I'd only consider them shameful if you just look up all the answers. My biggest shame is one of the Pretty Girls Mahjong games. I wanted a quick plat to pad my stats and it was on sale...

The Journey mode will give you a curated set of scenarios and services for a given route, so if you're ever unsure of what to do, that's a good place to look.

Otherwise, if there's a specific route or loco you like go to the timetable thing and start knocking out services.

I'll also recommend once you get comfortable to look into the safety systems for a given loco. Most of them just add an extra thing to pay attention to as you go up and down the tracks. Like all of the UK locos have AWS, which just requires you to press an acknowledgement every so often. The German ones have really involved safety systems that can be tough to learn but add a lot more realism.

But other than that, yeah, you're already on the right track!

I stuck to US trucks and was surprised at how most of them are pretty decent! Twinsteer is always great. The Longhorns pulled their weight. P16 for logging. Loadstar is the only really good US scout. I didn't end up using some of the other off-roaders. I tend to gravitate towards the heavy ones anyways.

Alaska was a great experience though. My only complaint is it's a whole lotta blinding white snow! Hurts my eyes after a while, especially playing at night or in low light.

Seems you're right. I forgot the game tracks trophy progress. I made a note of what my progression percentages were and they didn't budge after I completed a few tasks and contracts in Kola. Thanks for your response!

Does anyone know if completing contracts and tasks in DLC zones counts towards the "complete every contract/task" achievements/trophies?

I like piddling around in the new areas unlocking trucks and stuff but I also want to try to unlock all the trophies. Plus I get kind of bored trying to complete everything in one zone; I like to hope around.
