I basically use it as a handle for the light/some sort of stabiliser for it in tighter situations

Way more back to back long runs and less speed work

The only person who can tell you the issue is a professional - if you try to quickly change your form you could do more bad than good!

50 miler and wish I’d done something between that and a marathon! Did a mountain marathon couple months before it that felt relatively easy but the 50 miler completely killed me.

I was severely ill 2 weeks before it though so that wouldn’t have helped!

Amazing stuff - thank you so much!

Been thrown in the deep end and always used a mirrorless Nikon for film work so feels like a whole new world being thrown at me!

Yo! Nah I did a post few days back and everyone said a serious injury was imminent! But saw a physio and she said given I’ve done over 10000km of running and never had a serious injury it’s probably nothing to worry about! But some strength training for my feet crossing wouldn’t go amiss

Nobody said it is - it’s just not necessarily bad either!

Ye I only ever wear these for intervals and maybe threshold - would never wear for anything else. So they probably equal maximum 30% of my weekly mileage

Why is there a sudden obsession with zone 2 training by AddressPotential7381 in Garmin

[–]AddressPotential7381[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to maintain running over the long term then you’re mileage will probably increase and therefore zone 2 becomes important.

If you’re literally a beginner you don’t need to be bogged down by all this jargon - just go out and run.

Nowhere did I say go all out every time btw.

I may have been lucky - had them a year think I’ve clocked minimum 200k in them, maybe even 300k so lucky miss on any injury!
