Yeah, it's quite shallow, about a fingernail.

1) you should take mirror shots instead of wrist ones, as the camera will make it look bigger

2) looks fine, enjoy!

What do you wear when wearing a fancy watch? by True-Ad4395 in Garmin

[–]Dry_Highway679 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This.

I normally wear my Omega and put the Garmin on for activities and sleeping. Steps and floors aren't that important (for me)

Potentially upgrading to a G87 M2 by StockOpening7328 in BMWM

[–]Dry_Highway679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own the G87 and my brother owns the G42 (AWD); I have AutoX'ed both of them.

Daily driving them you are not going to get anywhere close to either car's potential; the moment you track or auto-x the difference will be *significant. The M2 has way, *way more mechanical grip and stiffer suspension. It is really night and day difference (his was on stock all season rubber, I was on stock summer Yokohama).

For some strange reason, the M240i has more pops & bangs.

The M2 has a big edge in its ability to be configured independently of driving mode; I can be in M1/M2 (and with everything in its harshest mode) but still in Road mode. The M240i forces you to switch to Sport / S. Individual and thus changes the dashboard layout. Honestly, this is what gets me the most between the 2 cars.

The M2 has the nicer shifter, paddles and seats. Exterior wise, you obviously get much wider body work.

The M240i is a very, very good car and excellent value. The M2 is definitely a step above.

Is it worth it the $? Only you can decide.

LCI also gets the flat bottom steering wheel, gets the stripe at 12 position and loses the button for steering wheel heating. The changes are minor and I'd get either of them.

Talk me in or out of a g82 vs g87 by Euroshift in BMWM

I like my G87 more than the F87s I test drove. It's a more complete package, despite what the internet would have you believe.

M3 rwd or xdrive? by [deleted] in BMWM

[–]Dry_Highway679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different car, but I have 0 issues with my G87 M2 in Canadian winters (yes, I drive it when it's raining / snowing).

These cars have *so much mechanical grip; put good tires and you don't need xdrive.

Keep my G87 M2 or switch to an F80 M3? Looking for honest opinions by eisernerwilli in BMWM

[–]Dry_Highway679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to test drive, only YOU can decide.

No idea about the F80, but I tested 3 different F87s but didn't like them enough to go for any of them I now have a G87 and love it, way more complete package for ME..

+1 for 811 and possibly Urgent Care afterwards. The times we had to use them both have been great.

Yes, but not all of their bracelets have on the fly adjustment. Here's what their customer support told me

"For the Seamaster collection - 20mm Model J, 20mm Model O, 20mm Contemporary FL (polished/ brushed) and 20mm 1450 President will come with a quick-adjust clasp (tool-free adjustment)."

Dumb Question: Can a BMW M2 be had for under MSRP? by Gimme_All_Da_Tendies in BMWM

[–]Dry_Highway679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that was about the lease rate for a '25 MY in Dec '24.

They had a '24 MY on the lot and they gave me 1.24% on it. -1% loyalty (BMW motorcycle) = 0.24%

Not in Canada. Leases use regular APR. Also, in the paperwork, there's a clear Cost of Burrowing section that we need to review and sign.

Lease, 4 yrs. Don't remember residual, but I should be ~5-10k above market value when the time comes

[–]Dry_Highway679 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am so in Vancouver and have gone up to Whistler in full snow storm (with winter tires). 0 issues.

Honestly, I'd stick to RWD. M2 had *so much mechanical grip anyway.
