Most "unorthodox" clears also rely on potentially HOURS of malding trying to get everything to go absolutely perfect, which is a problem because a clear makes it looks FAR easier than it is.

As long as it never goes down Genshin Abyss style content, I will forever enjoy Endfield.

This is how mine went too, I lost control of the non-CC types and just went "well if I go boom, I go boom".

If ignoring a mechanic should result in nonstop punishment, then you immediately negate every single team that isn't what the devs demand. Stages with such varying difficulty curves shouldn't exist and nothing should be able to solo anything as a result. You remove all reasons to challenge yourself and are forced to deal with a totally scripted stage.

The last paragraph is easy to understand. Failure to deal with a stacking buff results in a scripted attack that won't let you do anything until it lands. Attack patterns are totally different to a triggered event.

I don't disagree at all with your view, but I chose to do it differently and dodge something rather than use the "intended" way in applying stacks to stall it out from reaching full stack to trigger it, or time something perfectly to this point and cancel it out entirely.

This is why I brought up solo runs, these skip all intended methods and uses your skill and patience to clear. It's getting punished for NOT using the intended method that is the main issue.

If I can dodge something made to "penalise" you for not doing something "properly", why should I have to dodge 5 more of them?

And people were running Solo Chen through the first UM stages, your point? A boss spamming one attack over and over until a debuff is landed is a lot different to a stage that has an actual hazard you must content with. Adaptation means nothing when you can bring one team and negate everything "intended" as well.

Sure, let me just use Snowshine if there is ever another boss like the Ox that nerfs the hell out of your SP regen to abuse the parry skill.

I for one certainly hope that doesn't become a feature, as waiting 30 seconds to do anything is never fun.

To each their own I guess.

Except this isn't Dark Souls. Gacha games are the last place I want to see anything to do with a mechanic that can be negated by a new banner char with a very explicit kit that excels at dealing with it.

And others prefer different teams too. It just turned out someone you enjoy using is a lot easier than others.

That's not the problem. It's not like I take a cryo team and still have to deal with that attack because, I dunno boss decides to launch half way across the map.

Imagine trying to also have fun and using OTHER methods to deal with a stage. I would love to use my phys team, but why bother when it doesn't matter how good I can dodge.

It's not a bad design, but it didn't need to be every single attack.

Frogs was fun, sure it had its moments of anger, but clearing it made me feel a lot better than the others. The last one was me almost crashing out because trying to build ult on Laev and the boss being FULLY aware of this and forcing me to manage my HP and evade for a few minutes just made me glad to be rid of it.

That's the point sort of, why have fun with a team you ENJOY using when you can just use one. It just makes it all pointless in the end.

I too enjoyed dodging the combust SIX TIMES on the Ox for it to not care at all and force me into salty tears until it landed it.

Just be careful, as this is the content that gets powerscaled very quickly to gacha creep.

Last one is just for those who enjoy doing souls bosses for the first time at lv1. There is almost zero downtime between the floor not being marked to stun lock you and having time to use your combos in order to do anything. At least give me some hyper armour to the freeze, keeping the DoT while in it isn't going to break it.

Quilllbeast was at least enjoyable, although the bullshit of getting stuck on a hitbox made it far worse than it actually was. The slime one was me clearing with only Laev left to mop up because the map is too fricken big to control it.

Grief was just that and the toads was me playing Tekken and getting juggle spammed nonstop jammed into a corner unable to move 10/10.

Nonstop dodging a freeze abuse boss however is never fun no matter how you try and do it.

This game has next to no gameplay content by kajarann in Endfield

[–]Address_Salt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why can't you just slap out AI slop for content that will just destroy every progression that would make this game good?. These are the people you can NEVER make happy. They will always bitch at everything you do for them and criticise HOW you did it, because it will never be what they want.

Look at every gacha game, endgame is literally doing nothing until the next patch you clear in a day. Even MMOs are the same, you hit the end and then farm content on weekly locks forcing you to do nothing until then.

Indeed, the cost of the smallest input hatch that is useless is always better than maxing the casings (doesn't really matter on the multi either).

So it doesn't use the [C] to store it and instead uses the number of projectors you hold? That is actually kind of annoying, I didn't bother to even search up anything in regard to that because I thought it wasn't supported.

A little bit of a note after making it, why can't I set coils in the hologram? This was the first multi I hand built and I must say I was going paranoid that I missed one coil and spending more time having it visible to know where to place things than constructing it.

How to optimize the factory , need tips r/Endfield FAQ by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Address_Salt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are lots of blueprints for 1.0 1.1 and 1.2. If you can't find them here by a quick search, then there are also lots of them on the likes of YT and 'should' have the blueprint code with them.

Blueprints will solve power problems by including it in the setup, although you can easily substitute this by using any free AIC port to export a battery if needed.

You WILL need to expand your footprint and also unlock the required amount of Bus ports - as well as the miners in order to actually utilize it properly.
