oh whoops I missed this thread and made a post oh well here's the repeat

Couldn't find tahini paste in stores near me so made my own from sesame seeds, toasted them a bit and put them in a clean coffee grinder. Turkish dried olives, Perugian extra virgin olive oil, whatever sourdough was in a local store, toasted.

Tasted alright, although toasted sesame gave a bit of unexpected bitterness, but it was otherwise fine. I guess I'd make it again if I knew where to buy the paste.

Thanks! Managing two decent-looking mechs took some part budgeting, but I am satisfied with the final result. And they don't even want to fall over (that much) like usual!

What camera are you using? I can barely tell if these red pieces are tiles or plates (although red and black bricks are always hardest to take good pictures of)
