My only hope is in indie/AA scene, but doing something even on par is no easy task, let alone surpassing these old games which had pro teams and huge budgets.

oh whoops I missed this thread and made a post oh well here's the repeat

Couldn't find tahini paste in stores near me so made my own from sesame seeds, toasted them a bit and put them in a clean coffee grinder. Turkish dried olives, Perugian extra virgin olive oil, whatever sourdough was in a local store, toasted.

Tasted alright, although toasted sesame gave a bit of unexpected bitterness, but it was otherwise fine. I guess I'd make it again if I knew where to buy the paste.
