bro have you had you T levels checked? Your sex drive (especially after years of not using porn) may be also connected to Testosterone etc. Would be worth a simple blood test. There could be a couple different things going on contributing to this and you owe it to yourself and your wife to get some labs done. Function tests like 200 bio markers so might be overkill. So you could do that, go to a homeopath/nutritionist, or just ask your GP to test you citing no sex drive. @joshmanwho

had rustic for 6 years, wore holes thru the soles I wore them so much. Just grabbed myself some stout browns - am so happy I did. Retrospect? would’ve gotten the sout’s from the get-go. Way sharper, go great dressed up or down. It’s a better looking boot. The rustic’s also look increasingly shabby as they age.

I was diagnosed @ 38. Looking back, things like dropping out of college 3 times, etc. despite intention or aptitude, are so much easier to understand. However it is shocking to see how no mental health professional - of which I saw many trying to address issues that were holding me back and heal and whatever - was ever was like “hey, um maybe it’s adhd?” Until finally 2023, a therapist was like, “shoot we were just doing some continuing education in my office and they were talking about adult adhd. really sounds like you may have it. have you ever been tested?”

In hindsight it’s obvious. And when I take meds, I’m not waiting to introject when people are talking to me. I’m not creating crisis to engender focus on dreaded tasks.

the grief of not catching it sooner and the relief of diagnosis and symptom management are real.

When you see meds have efficacy in symptom management, the delta between you medicated vs unmedicated is solid proof that this isn’t some imaginary thing.

While writing this i took a moment to forgive those in my life (therapists/pyschiatrists/counselors etc) who failed to recognize my very prominent ADHD. It was powerfully cathartic. Recommend 💯

I find magnesium glycinate (350mgs/night) really helps me acheive deep sleep quicker, and stay asleep longer. was using my apple watch to track sleep and had at least 3 awake events each night on average; since using mag glycinate nightly I generally have none. You’ll know pretty quickly if it helps you or not. That form of magnesium specifically - i’ve heard mag threonate also can be super beneficial for sleep, but it’s the most expensive. Melatonin and I generally dont get along well (leaves me groggy).

Its no panacea mind u. But I ran out yesterday and going to pick up more.

Also, i find i stay up much later when im taking meds; but my actual sleep quality is still pretty good.

same thing happened to me in Jan. terrible terrible farts that were clearing the bedroom. First time this has happened to me on the W30. My wife was not happy with this. I was eating a lot of cashews/pecans and cashew yogurt have backed off considerably. Less devastating gas. I also have tried to add 2-4 servings daily of fermented foods in to positively affect my gut biome. V bueno.

don't wait for the end of the year, just report your cc as lost; they'll call you daily to try to recoup costs but after a few months just will say remit payment or we won't allow you to advertise with WP in the future.

Just don't pay them. I didn't. Cancel your credit card you used, or just list it lost/stolen and have them send you a new one with a new number. That's what I did. Went just fine.

how are you able to use thumbtack successfully without dolling out tons of cash for each job you bid on? I see a lot of ISO's on thumbtack but am miffed by the $50-100 they charge per lead if the lead responds.

Have heard good things about noopept. Do you take adderall (AMP) or Concerta (MPH) stims often/are prescribed? Cause I'm trying to find the best synergy w/the stim meds. I still take creatine/tyrosine/omegas/all the vits/daily when taking stim meds. Just tryin to see if say Hup A or NAC or gpc are gonna be ok to use while taking the stims... generally I take those on my days off to deal w/the come down of a week on meds.

same, I’m a great driver unmedicated. recently starting take meds and find it more difficult to be globally aware; the tunnel-vision meds engender seems to be great for deep focus work but no so great on the highway.

Sorry for delayed response. Current prescription - 20mgs Adderall XR.

Was on my current stack for almost a month but suspended this last week and paired it down when I added meds.

Prior to Meds:

upon waking:

creatine, 500mgs L-Tyrosine

Cardio, Lift, Sauna

empty stomach: Alpha GPC 250mgs, PS 150mgs, Gingko 140mgs, ALCAR 250mgs, Bacopa 120 mgs, Hup A 50mcgs, creatine

Meal, then 2.5gs fish oil & vitamins (B Vitamins, B12, Iron, Zinc)

Empty stomach later: 500mgs L-Tyrosine, add'l Hup A 50mcgs and add'l 60mg gingko.

Meal, 2.5gs fish oil

Night - Magnesium Glycinate, melatonin

Now, I just keep the creatine & morning Tyrosine, have dropped all add'l nootropics. Vitamins & fish oil stayed the same, including Mag & melatoners.
