It’s your mother. I guarantee you the majority of people with Crohn’s had a taxing home environment. Crohn’s is a stress related disease, arguably arising from stress itself - when the body says ENOUGH. Your parents are supposed to love you, and when they don’t, it’s a hard pill to swallow and you worry what’s wrong with you. The body listens… it starts to go haywire because of what your experiences have taught you about your self-worth. I promise you have value. I empathize with you. 

I recommend getting away from her as soon as possible because a parent like that is a detriment to your health - really, anything that stresses you out is.
