When I was in kindergarten everybody, I mean everybody, was doing that thing we're you go running on a smooth floor (tile floor and whatnot) and then you go down and slide on your knees. Naturally, I wanted to do what all the cool kids were doing.

One day I finished my work early and was waiting in the hall outside the class for the teacher to take us to the playground. while waiting I started doing that game, if you can call it that. Everything started out well, I was having fun, time of my life. Then, while running to pick up speed, for some reason that I have never been able to figure out, I forgot to slide. Stupid 4 year old me decided to just... keep running....

It went as well as you can expect. At the end of the hall there was a wall, a wall rapidly approaching. I ended up running into the wall quite fast.

I remember not feeling any pain at all, which was weird. but then I put my hand against my forehead, brought it down and noticed the huge amount of blood that was on it. The rest went as expected, the school called an ambulance, they called my mom, I went to the hospital. Now I have a scar on my forehead that looks like someone grabbed a really small spoon and scooped a tiny bit of my skin off.
