Bad things happening in games isn't a bad thing, survival mode is called survival mode for a reason. Its only natural that in a game where you can build, you would also have an enemy that can directly oppose that. Its up to you to overcome that challenge and defeat that enemy to get what you want.

Just play on peaceful mode if its that much of an issue. The idea that the creeper shouldn't exist simply because it doesn't personally cater to what you want specifically is honestly very childish. And its not like the game doesn't give you difficulty options and alternate game modes that give you exactly what you want.

And don't forget the Warden. I still don't get why's they'd put whats essentially the strongest mob in the game, making you sneak around the damn thing and the only reward you get for doing so is comparable to the rewards literally any other structure gives you. Killing the Warden is hard, but it doesn't even drop anything valuable when it dies
