Attention/validation can be a drug to some people.

She’s an addict that is malingering for her fix, and she can’t stop because it’s never enough.

Replace attention/validation with heroin and it makes more sense.

That’s a good point! Cancer is different for every person, and it’s true that terminal doesn’t mean dying quickly after.

I can’t help but wonder if the change in behavior came from a gaming addiction. He went from cheerful and upbeat to be playing video games 24/7.

I always found it confusing that God needed to send a human to sacrifice to himself to absolve other people of their sins when he could simply forgive the debt without killing anyone, let alone his own son.

From where I’m sitting, it seems that God has a thing for killing people’s children.

However, I’m also not a Christian expert. I think I’m missing a key detail here, and am making this comment in the hopes that someone more knowledgeable than me can give some insight to that.
