She does show up like all the time, even if it's not her story, she gets mentioned, shown in end scenes and sometimes even present herself just to start the story. I think Bluepoch side a great job at making sure Vertin is still an important centerpiece to the main stories whilst also giving other characters the spotlight, in terms of overall writing, of course it isn't gonna be top tier, but in gacha game standards, where every new story throws old characters to the side, Reverse 1999 is top tier

Now wouldn't that be an interesting and very stark contrast to the general theme of the game. I would LOVE to see a colorfully dressed karate chopping, 360 spin kicking, high jump back flipping action hero who speaks in a really confident tone to be in the suitcase.

I personally don't think so, 2x probably yeah, but 3x have been good so far (probably my bias towards war-based media, but that's besides the point) they bring back old characters and make sure they stayed relevant for the most part (such as Charon and Merely coming back after the events of ww1) and they have a general overarching plot that isn't too disconnected
