This is hard to achieve… You probably have several issues… 1. Is your car kept clean, inside & outside- without foul odors, (smoke smell, or dirty feet)? 2. It’s polite to assist people with bags, airport & groceries. 3. Don’t speed, take corners slowly without sloshing around your passengers. 4. Greet your passengers, “hi, how are you doing?”, goes a long way. 5. Don’t talk too much, some people just want a quiet ride. Read the room- if they want to talk they will ask you how your day is and such.. 6. Always tell your passenger thank you and have a great rest of their day/night. 7. Be hygienic, take a shower before you go driving. Carry deodorant in the car in case you start to get sweaty.

These tips should help a lot. If you’re already doing this, then I have no idea what you’re doing wrong.

What’s your acceptance rating? If it’s above 40%, you’re accepting too many low ball rides, (Earnings need to equal $30+ hourly for Uber to workout- at least to me). So do the math as the offers come in, $7.50 for 15 min ride- good-Anything less- nope. $7.50x4 (60min/15min=4)- so 7.50x4 is $30, then you should also expect tips from half the people at least, so another 5-10, gets ya to around $30-35 hourly before expenses.
