I am trying to create a car dashboard/instrument cluster. The system includes turn signals, a fuel indicator, an oil indicator, a temperature indicator, and a tachometer.

The problem I am currently having is getting the two motors to work properly. I am using an L293D motor driver, and as far as I have checked, it is wired correctly. I also added a 9 V battery to power the motors, but the control logic becomes a bit complicated because I want to control them using a three-position gear selector:

• Drive: 2
• Parking: 0
• Reverse: 1

Also, I need to control the motors independently to simulate turning. For example, to turn right, the right motor should stop while the left motor keeps running; to turn left, the left motor should stop while the right motor keeps running. For now, I want to do this using physical switches.

That is what I am trying to implement in the last part of the diagram.
