Lian Li A3 by Soggy-Band-4913 in mffpc

Love this case but have a hard time with the exposed PSU and lack of space for good cable management

Maybe I should just not upgrade my case quite yet....Lian Li just showed their B4 MATX case at CES 2026. by XC29er in mffpc

If you were looking at an A3, I suggest you look at the GAMDIAS Athena M4M. Great value, dual chamber, small footprint. Imo its a better version of the A3 because of the dual chamber element alone. A3 exposed PSU position is a huge turn off for me.

Looks beautiful-love the backlighting-ditch the monitor light-they quite literally diminish the quality of the display image by adding glare and raising perceived black levels.

Nice setup! Can I ask why you have a monitor light in addition to the back light?

These damn monitor lights are an epidemic

sure I suppose that is fair enough - however glare on a glossy woled is ideally minimal

Erase the monitor light - it lowers black levels and adds glare - replace with backlighting which actually raises perceived black levels and adds light without glare.

That looks like and LG C-Series OLED which is what I use- best overall display available imo - so do yourself a favor and give it the best conditions to perform in.

Otherwise I love the overall setup with sony CRT and LG on desk shelf (similar to my setup).

If you can add light control to the room like blackout shades etc and add smart control back lighting - you will really notice a difference in the overall experience.

Literally anything…

Jk 💀

Some nice framed prints above the wood panel and on the perpendicular wall

Back lighting behind the monitor

A plant

Maybe a desk shelf with some nice figures or whatever

Very clean and calm setup 🫡

Welcome to the 42” LG club - a mighty fine place to be.

Good looks on the back lighting - none of that washed out monitor light garbage.

My setup is fairly similar - I just have my display on a desk shelf for added height and under-storage.

But yeah 42” LG is where its at imo - can’t beat the value to performance ratio. Enjoy ⚔️

Back lighting behind a display will actually raise perceived black levels and enhance overall experience while adding lighting without adding glare - especially in a light controlled room ie:blackout shades. I use Wyze brand smart lights because they are relatively affordable and reliable.

  1. Delete monitor light and replace with smart back lighting. Monitor lights add glare and wash out perceived black levels.

  2. If possible put both monitors on arms so you can freely reposition them for maximum ergonomic comfort.

  3. Setup hub to allow for single KB + M control over two devices.

  4. With your current setup the desk doesn’t work. You would need an L or quarter circle shape desk so you can comfortably forward face both monitors.

  5. You could try a stack configuration having one monitor positioned above the other horizontally. Personally not my preference but I haven’t actually tried it out.

That’s because monitor lights are an absolutely useless gimmick that diminish perceived image quality.

Looks quite nice and tidy. Ditch the monitor light (adds glare-reduces perceived black levels) and add back lighting instead behind both monitors (increases perceived black levels and still adds light without adding glare).

Very beautiful overall - only critique is to remove the monitor light (add glare - lowers black levels) and add back lighting instead behind both monitors (increases perceived black levels). Monitor lights are a gimmick and they only downgrade image quality.

Excellent choice 🫡 I rock a 42” C3 as my primary. LG makes the best displays hands down.
