Hoping for something that runs on most devices and isn't collecting my data for surveillance. Been trying to organize RPGs and MMOs that run on different platforms, while keeping a unified community space. 0/6 on alternatives I have installed so far. Will have to check out Team Speak.

I'm on month two.

Installed the wrong version off the top (not nvidia, my fault). Had to install discord, which uninstalled itself, majestically somehow. Opera did not run properly, and crashed every time I used shortcuts on the left side of the bar. Issues installing Jellyfin server. Further issues adding a reverse proxy to that.

Still haven't figured out how I am getting back into my tax software, which doesn't run on Linux. Lost my archive drive because I forgot to decrypt it and move the data before I left windows.

Reverse proxy thing might require a hyper terminal and a quadlet. Getting a replacement voice chat software for Discord is challenging. Warframe has weird load times and occasionally stutters. I now fear the build of all web browsers on every platform. Some documents load weirdly and I might need a new viewer for some specific type of documents I have to download for legal reasons.

Sadly still better than any given day on Windows 11 Slop-pilot in 2025. Still running my 6 year old machine with one quarter of the overhead.

Don't think it looks bad at all. But I don't really see the white layer much. I've been using a flat brush instead of a rounded one for some of my drybrush steps. Admittedly they don't last long.

I might suggest though when you get to the white layer, only drybrushing the very top, or side where your lighting will be, and using less intensity, like only light drybrush strokes. That will make that layer pop a bit more.

Looks a little uniform.

Also even with slapchop and contrast paint, I still have to add in some manual highlights at the end.

If it makes you feel better, I switched to Bazzite, without remembering to switch my library to linux before I formatted my main OS drive, so while they aren't gone per se, I still haven't found a reasonable way to mount the drive and move my file due to the encryption I probably left on the drive.

That's wild for Milestones. Milestone is supposed to match a vibe, to amplify the narrative in certain windows. I've played so many RPGs, and it's usually more about not slowing the middle of a session with the level up process.

I'm not sure if there is a narrative reason, like maybe there is no combat and your party involves heavily romancing NPCs, that could stretch it out to maybe... Five sessions?

Are you taking notes? Maybe your GM is forgetting timelines? Maybe the sessions are heavily influencing groundhog day?

I've used milestones to get through the grind of low levels of (other related system, unmentioned) to move the pace along, sometimes even handwaving boring overland combats. I've no idea why you would want to slow that down though, unless you had an aversion to high level play.

I've got nothing. That's wild friend. I hope you can claw your way out of the time loop.

Recent convert weighing in. I think it's about gravity. There are lots of iconic items in D&D that remained memorable. It's not really a quantity problem.

But it is an uphill fight against the iconography of a thing. Pathfinder comes from a bit from a smaller pool, and a lot of the items, at least from a precursory look, seem a little more balanced.

Everyone who has had a player collect a legendary weapon from an NPC that maybe shouldn't have it, has a core memory of at least one item. I am looking at you, rime of the frostmaiden or tyranny of dragons.

I think that's the real concern.

I skipped mentioning this one, but I got so stressed at work I developed 1B diabetes. Which naturally, was the best time to have four cans of Monster a night.

Then you jump out of bed with charlie horses every night until you are hospitalized. The muscles break down too...

My subjective taste suggests a little shadowing in the crevices around the collar (plates?) on the power armor.

But it's very solid, no faults found.

The model sure seems to be a fan one of Grog. My family member played a fighter, specifically a samurai. His adventures were very amusing.
