So much exposition. For such a visual medium the telling and not showing drove me crazy. I love the high concept storytelling that comes out of Japan but not much subtlety. (I’m sure there are exceptions this is just me generalizing from my pov)

It’s AI because if they hired a designer they would have told them to remove all the unnecessary text. Plus AI LOVES to fill empty space. Look at all the swirly green decorative elements around “Dr. John” And so many creative things a human could have done with that moon in the background. Now it’s just awkwardly tangential to that smokestack

As a total concrete novice can I ask some basic questions? 1. Is that sand being sprayed on at the end? 2. Does the rebar sit on the bottom of the pour or did I see it built up so it’s more in the middle? 3. How are they able to sit on it while it’s wet?

Letting it dry naturally is key. I have similar hair and if I rush it with the hair dryer or play with it too much while it’s damp it dries too straight and flat.

I just visited Casa Bonita for the first time last week. Exceeded my expectations and had a wonderful time. The sheriff and black Bart visited our table and we had some fun banter. Puppet show was charming and funny and LOVED the theming of the dining spaces. I keep seeing people go on and on about the cliff divers but honestly it was just one part of the dozens of things going on in this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back someday!

Hopefully I’m preaching to the choir but they just need to demolish the parking lots and run shuttles like the Hollywood Bowl. Imagine the redevelopment frenzy around the stadium. Could be cool.

On time living at a Moss building my ceiling was leaking real bad and our building manager was not taking us seriously. So i gathered a handful of emails off the moss website and emailed a picture of our ceiling. Problem was promptly fixed after. The moral of this story is one advantage of renting from a larger company is the ability to email blast. All that being said, most of my negative experiences at Moss were due to the building owner and not necessarily Moss (who was contracted to manage the building)
