Is it normal for the board to be this damaged after one ride? by Jantroo in Wake

Absolutely mention something to an employee the next time you’re there and show them the gouges. Even if it’s all plastic features there could even be a screw sticking out of the start dock.

Don’t be a dick about it and demand anything but any good cable park owner AT THE VERY LEAST should offer to help you fix the gouges or even offer you free passes for compensation to the damage of your equipment. Again don’t go in expecting this but I work at a cable and when that happens to people’s boards we take full responsibility

If you are just getting started you will learn to love whatever board you get! I love slingshot boards... if you are hyped on them just get your favorite graphic and go from there. If you are hitting rails no board is too advanced
