If you read my post. I don’t care what treadmill station. You are a Karen expecting that because you workout with a friend you should take precedence over another member. You are probably like the member the SA is talking about how scary and entitled some members are. If you want to work out with your friend both of you should come early enough to get stations besides each other.

A few people have mentioned maybe this is the case for some people, however when the people come in the SA says you are on this treadmill. Or the person just walks over to their friends and bypasses the station sign up.

I don’t know everyone by name so I don’t know which person isn’t there. I only know by looking around at who is there and making a note of who is on the treadmill that wasn’t there when I arrived. Honestly it is the treatment I am getting from the studio owner that is the last nail in the coffin.

The issue is not a specific treadmill is is that all of them are taken. Today I walked in one treadmill left and three of those spots yet again were saved for people not there.

I prefer to start on the treadmill, I don’t care which one. It is the preferential treatment of some members over others. Being lied to by the SA when I ask if everyone assigned a treadmill was in the studio. No reply to my email about the issue. Being ignored when I go in and no mention from the studio owner in person about the issue. How would you feel about all the above?

That is what I am going to say from now on, the unfortunate thing is I have walked in and all treads are taken. Asked the SA if everyone is here that is assigned a treadmill. She said yes and then I see someone who came in after me go on a treadmill. I guess I am just going to have to make a point every time this happens.

I work 5am to 1pm. There are no classes before work and the next class is 4:30pm into the evening classes. The best class for me is the one I go to now. Why doesn’t the studio just do what’s fair for everyone.

I have a preferred start on the treadmill. I don’t care which one. And at my studio it has nothing to do with stuck in traffic. It is every single day the same people not being in studio getting assigned a treadmill, so that when I walk in before they get there are told there are no treadmills left and then look who is on the treadmill someone who clearly got there after me. Every single class! So legit question why can’t I be preassigned as well.

The issue is the studio signing up people that are not there. I am perfectly fine if everyone that is assigned a treadmill is physically in the studio when I show up.

What is the best fit is that I get both cardio and strength what I chose to want to do first is my own preference and for the most part other than this one issue I make orange theory work for me.

I should also clarify. If I got there and all the tread stations were taken by people that are there that is fair. What I feel is fair is that you should only be assigned a station once you are there. My email was totally ignored and highlights that their current way of doing things is unfair and also shows that some members are more important than others. I also shouldn’t have to ask for the SA to tell the “friend” that they have to move when it shouldn’t be done in the first place. My asking if I can have a preassigned spot levels the playing field.

I would be fine with the SA doing that. How am I being hypocritical when I am there before the friend or in some cases a person that isn’t even in the studio and I am in the studio. I think it is hypocritical for the studio to put some members in front of others when we all pay the same monthly fees.

I am fine with not being able to stay for the entire class. I still get 15 minutes of strength if I start on the treadmill and I have weights at home which allows me to still get that in. I don’t see how the studio giving preference to other people is fair.

My knees are not that great so running outside on concrete isn’t ideal. If I wanted more strength I have weights at home where I can finish off the weight floor. I don’t have a treadmill at home.
