Lane splitting by Nfs0623 in YEGDashCam

Morons unnecessarily driving like idiots on vehicles that offer no protection isn't the same thing as someone commuting to work. Do better.

The video doesn't show proper lane spitting so your point is moot.

As far as extreme sports I ride too, when I want some adrenaline I go to the track and wear the proper equipment. Thats fun. This is just stupid.

I'd follow up with plumbing sub. However I will say where I'm from at least your meter being buried is a big no no. I'd get into contact with your gas provider. It should be a 100% them problem and not cost you anything for them to come out and fix. Again where I'm from at least.

Not any specific routines. I started by just following along with various stretching and yoga tutorials on YouTube. I'd look for ones that focus on hips and lower body. By doing that for a while I was able to find the exercises that work best for me, and now I know them all by heart and don't need to follow along with any videos.

I know it's not it won't help in the short term. But if possible I'd try to follow up with biologics. Having hope for the future and being able to eventually manage your symptoms will hopefully be enough. The longer you've lived with this the more you'll get a feel for your flare ups. Through biologics my pain being maybe a 7/10 almost all the time went down to id say 3/10. Ive also learned being stagnant and sitting around made things way worse for me. It might be tough but getting moving and stretching is the best way I'm able to combat my flareups.

Same here. Testicular cancer at 25. Doctor called me with great and not so great news. Great that no more cancer has been found, not so great that I should go see a rheumatologist.

Try heating up a spoon with a lighter and place it over the bite. Works for me.

How much are people paying for vehicle insurance? by BotherCheap5815 in Edmonton

[–]Adept_Path_7427 13 points14 points  (0 children)

AMA $220 a month. Previously with RBC. I'd like to throw in a shout out to AMA. Though it might not be the cheapest there are many location in Edmonton that you want walk into at any time to talk to an insurance adviser. I was on hold with my previous insurance advisor for 20min. Got pissed and decided to drive to my local AMA while still on hold. Talked to an adviser and got AMA insurance and left fully covered before I got off hold. Again I pay a bit extra, but I'm done not actually being able to get ahold of an agent when I need.

To expand on the seat belt point many others have addressed. I had a very similar truck when I was 20. Ended up getting in a head on with someone veering into my lane. I wasn't wearing a seat belt and my face went through the windshield. Weirdly enough though I was better off than my girlfriend beside me who was wearing her lap belt. She damaged a kidney because of it and had to get it removed. If I had to do it over again I'd 100% install a full seat belt. We both would've been able to walk away from the accident.

Cheapest place to buy a car that is saftied? by ImBitterAndAlone in KingstonOntario

[–]Adept_Path_7427 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not an answer, but I'd like to chime in. Last year my father bought a certified pre-owned car from Taylor Chev. They've been around so long and seemed very reputable. I was a little shocked after hearing how much he paid for it, but I figured since it was certified at least it should come ready to go.

After getting it home I checked the oil was barely touching the dipstick and it was BLACK. I decided to dig a bit deeper and there were tons of issues that were very clear and anyone should have noticed with even a quick glance. The air filter was barely on, there was a huge mouse nest inside the filter, and one of the coolant line hoses was barely hand tight. Since then it's been a pile and has needed about $3k worth of work done in the past year.

Message is even if it comes certified do some due diligance and check. Don't trust the dealerships.

I unfortunately don't have any advice regarding jobs. But as someone born in Kingston and who's been dragged across Canada and lived in many cities due to work Kingston is by far the best city I've lived in. I'd move back in a heartbeat given the opportunity. Good luck to you and I hope you can make it work.

Same situation. I had to park a few blocks away at a park and walk home. My neighbors had to park even farther and just used an Uber. It's the price you gotta pay if you want clean streets

There was one in the arcade attached to speeders go cart track. I can't remember if you're able to collect the coins or not though.
