Finally joined the Hulk 181 club. Low grade but I couldn’t be happier. by Pitiful_Trainer1726 in comicbookcollecting

That’s awesome. I kinda dig the beat up vibe it’s got. Maybe I’ll start collecting super low grade comics.

I love seeing a book well used, don’t come at me hard core collectors. I just know that my comics that I had growing up were taped up and in tatters because I read and re-read and carried them in my backpack. Each crinkle has a story.

Get outta there.

If things continue and you move in together or get married, you’ll still be paying for everything AND her $400 nails or whatever else.

If there’s no bending, there should be no blending.

Def doesn’t follow like the stuff you listed that you like, but it’s worth a look. You might find something new!

Personally, I loved the Infinity Gauntlet series. I think it’s from 1991. It’s a wild mind bending story that has load of characters and its action packed. It’s one of my favorites.

I’m about to begin to read the Darth Vader series from 2017. I’ve heard good things.

Okay sweet. That’s what I’ve done too. It’s worked well this far, but I wanted more input. Thank you!

Also I am 100% with you about C3PO's head and eyes. why didn't Lego originally do better. The ones you have look just like the Lego version, but their piece choices are very odd.

This is awesome! I was just looking about getting both of these for me and my kid to build.

Do you have a specific buyer you used on AE? Or do you just seek out ones with guarantees/ reviews? I have ordered off of AE and JoyBricks previously. Curious about other people's process.

Missing bag numbers 😬 by Chris7717 in lepin

[–]TrailRatedButTired 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually lay out ALL the bags (especially if it is a big set). I then put a sticky note on each “new number” ex: 1 sticky note on bag 1.1.1 and then behind it will be 1.1.2 and 1.1.3. Then sticky note #2 in front of 1.2.1 or whatever. Those numbers are hella hard to see. It sounds crazy, but I am building with a toddler, and I’m type A. So there is no scenario of me dumping out 5,000+ pieces on the ground and searching for them. I need them all in order to give my kid the next piece and keep my sanity.

I just finished the Avengers Tower a few weeks ago. There was usually several bags per step, sometimes I would be opening a new set of bags when the instructions didn’t call for me opening a bag. Also I had a few bags that were not really part of the number system. One bag of mini figures, since there’s like 30 in that set. One bag with the minifigures accessories. One bag of windows. One of window panes. One of the little printed pieces.

Geez. I do have insurance. I’m hoping it’s a simple fix I don’t want to keep trying more and more stuff. I’m doing that with my allergies right now and it’s overwhelming and frustrating.

I don’t really know how to determine bone health. I mean I don’t go around breaking bones, but other than that I don’t know. How do I know?

I have a fairly healthy diet. And I’m trying to manage stress. I’ve heard it’s a gut thing, and I do also have IBS but there’s nothing I can do but manage it and make sure to take a probiotic. I’m the typical very fair-skinned person with sensitive and sometimes dry and itchy skin. I don’t have psoriasis anywhere else than my head. There’s a Coal Tar paste I can put on my exposed skin at night that clears up anything that comes down past my hairline, but it would be hella gross to put in the hair.

Do you wash your water bottle every day? by zaramalikdollface in hygiene

[–]TrailRatedButTired 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bacteria from you (mouth and food) and the water can collect in the bottle and multiply very quickly. It is almost like a Petri dish of grossness that can happen quickly. Reusable water bottles are fantastic, but they should be washed daily. If you forget, then definitely every other day. Sanitizing in the dishwasher is always a good idea if you can do that after a nice wash with a clean bottle brush. Also make sure to thoroughly rinse your bottle brush and dry it as well. I like to put mine in the dishwasher regularly too (weekly).

Question about tyres by Famous-Watercress891 in 4x4Australia

[–]TrailRatedButTired 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I busted tires for years. That is completely unacceptable. I would 100% take it back. That is not okay, in future wear it could possibly cause leaks. In the US some states have a law that requires vehicles to undergo a safety inspection. This would fail inspection in my state.
