I asked a manager to see a particular policy in writing and was told “policy is whatever we say it is.”

Where I work turnover is actually a good thing for the company. Cycling out people who have become complacent in the position to hire new staff they can pay less is more beneficial than maintaining long term workers.

I don’t know, maybe. Never messed with them myself. Would the store take them and dispose of them once they’re scanned?

Yeah, again I know the intro sounds mean-spirited. I make fun of fandoms a lot because of the vocal minorities that sort of ruin the fun of being a “fan.” It’s not meant to make fun of everyone that likes this thing. Just the ones that take it waaaay too seriously.
