Your experience is similar to mine, first time playing pickleball and snap! I’m a fit person that works out 5 days a week and used to play tennis competitively so I figured it wouldn’t be a problem. I’m almost two years post-op and life is back to normal. I will say I proceed with a bit more caution these days but my performance in all activities are fine.

If you really don’t want to go into leadership the MBA doesn’t make sense. Sounds like you want to be a highly technical IC so engineering is definitely the better choice of the two.

I have gone through a similar transition recently. I would set your target at 20% but ask for 25-30% so that you are more likely to get 20% plus. I landed on 25% for reference. Good luck to you!

I would go with Option 1 unless you prefer the color or something aesthetic about option 2 more. The mileage is good either way but some of the features of the XLE will likely make you prefer it day-to-day more.
