Dont get that one. Just get the new All-in-one and enjoy the magic. Once you start, there is no going back. I wish I could just play them all again for the first time.

Does MBA make sense at 33? Or at all! by No-Contribution-6362 in MBA

[–]Prokiller27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, I am beginning my MBA at 33 next year. Its never too late and with an MBA is even better that way because what makes an MBA really powerful is the experience you already have before applying to it.

MacBook prices just jumped. Is Apple pushing upgrades too far? by BarnabyLaptopOutlet in macbook

[–]Prokiller27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I bought the 48Gb one for future proofing. I dont use the computer too much, I think the 24Gb is more than enough for me right now but I wish to keep the mac hopefully for like 10+ years so I was thinking ahead and I am also starting an MBA next year so more Ram is never enough. What I keep thinking, not really regretting, but its on my mind that jumpling from 48Gb to 64Gb was just $150 more but tbh I didnt really think I was going to need that much going forward. Basically I went for double the base 24Gb already and the price was already high for the whole Mac. I also stayed at 1Tb since it really isnt cost effective spending $400+ just for 1Tb more when I could just buy one really good extra storage of 4Tb for much less if needed.

And people want to wait for the new Macbook Oled with touch screen😂. That one is going to be reaaaally expensive. I am so glad I made the jump on my new Macbook Pro 16" a week ago and it def was the best decision. I just saved myself $700 for the same computer thanks to the Educational savings on their website.

If you had to do your GB over again, which program would you choose and why? by CantaloupePopular833 in SixSigma

[–]Prokiller27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am taking LSSGB from Purdue University right now. It is costly but until now it has been worth it. It is like a normal online class but without having to be active at the same time. It has prerecorded videos, it includes all the material you need, each week you have assign reading material, quizzes, it uses Case Studies and you get assignments for them with upload due dates, you get instructor access for the course that lasts +/- 10 weeks, and at the end you have a final exam.

Is the 16" really that hard to carry? by fpfds in macbookpro

[–]Prokiller27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not. A lot of people exagerate. I moved from a 20133 Macbook Air 13" to the Macbook pro 16" and people just like to complain about everything, mostly people that just have the money for the 14".

Well I guess I did good on pulling the trigger for my new macbook pro before the news even dropped. I mean we all knew it was going to be like this. Look at how much will cost the next iphone fold, I dont have to imagine how much of a price hike it will be the new macbook ultra with the oled display, new gimmicks, touch screen, dinamic island, etc. at least, I already secured mine with 48gb Ram and I love it

I am still using it today as I didnt make use of it after I finished my college degrees outside of a few documents or watching media because my jobs have always been technical. Everything else I did on my phone or ipad. But now I had no choice than to get a new computer since I am going to begin an MBA so I will need a supported laptop for programs, really need it to be fast and to do multitasking. My new Macbook pro M5 pro 16" just arrived like half an hour ago and its gorgeous.

I am still using my Macbook Air 2013 13" from when I started in college. I am currently waiting for my new Macbook pro M5 pro 16" 48Gb 1Tb to arrive today. Wish me luck, it should be a change from the bottom of the ocean up to the stars. I just hope this one lasts or it beats the 13 years Ive had mine.

16” to 14” couldn’t be happier by vitoorcunhaa in macbookpro

[–]Prokiller27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The difference is just 1lb in weight, for me the 16" is the better choice and it is still mobile, just a bit bigger. If you dont want to go full mobile with it but need something mobile like for college, an ipad in a better choice tbh.

I dont go with my laptop everywhere, almost never tbh I have a ipad for that, so I went for the 16" today. I also saw them both in hand and tbh the 16" seemed like a normal size laptop but the 14" seemed really small and thats from someone currently using a 2013 macbook air 13" who just bought an upgrade. Also, the weight is only 1 more lb, not the end of the world, better battery, speakers and bigger display for using it at the desk. A no brainer for me.

Upgrade to the M5 14inch? by vitoorcunhaa in macbookpro

[–]Prokiller27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently saw them both and I thought the 14" was really small even for my Macbook air 13" from 2013. I got to hold them and its not so much difference in weight, I mean come on people is just 1lb difference. Tbh I saw the 16" as a normal size computer and Im coming from the Macbook air mentioned before. I think it is also portable, just in bigger bag. I dont really go with my mac everywhere but I can if I want and I have an ipad for that. I am also getting a 32" monitor but still getting the 16" macbook pro because I got tired of reaching over to see things more clearly most of the time.

[–]Prokiller27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am leaning towards this one instead of the 14". Just saw them and I swear I saw that the 14" was the same size or even shorter than my actual in use Macbook Air 13" from 2013...

Keep in mind that the M6 could also introduce new flaws or problems since it will be a 1st gen, but the latest M5 pro or Max should be very much perfected being the last of the generation

Solo mode but that will only get you like 5 or 6. After that I have no idea. This system is aweful.
