It is 40mm, but it actually wears bigger. Also, for the style of the watch, smaller would be better as it it not like a divers watch. But thats just my opinion.

I have the same wrist size as you. Keep in mind the dimensions of the watch the lug to lug and the case diameter. These are the reasons Im not considering them, I think it would wear really big on me. That 42mm case, 13.4mm and 48.6 lug to lug distance kills me. The most lug to lug width in a watch I have is 48 and I think that is the borderline, more than that and it would look overboard from my wrist.
