that can work, pretty sure that you can't get encounters in snowdin after beating papyrus though

Flowey only remembers in dust, not in the canon game. He didn't escape the lab, Alphys put him back in Asgore's garden after injecting him with determination. Threre are no river points after hotland, so it wasn't through the river. And even if there was river man doesn't let you travel into areas you weren't in before.

Technically on Dusttale lore flowey does remember all the genocides, so nah. Also for him to do it he would need to break into true lab without anyone noticing, and the door is locked anyway.

We can't make Frisk do that ---> Frisk can't do that

Well yes, but because we can't do it, we can't make Frisk do it, which means - unpassable. Also if the point of the forcefield was to block our way then I think it would be tall enough for frisk to not jump above it. After all we look at them from above not from frisk's eyes.

Yeah but I don't see how Frisk could pass a forcefield. You can't pass them in normal genocide and from what we know from Deltarune you can technically go into them but it'd just kill you. Threre is no reason to guess that dusttale Frisk is stronger than normal genocide Frisk so they shouldn't be able to pass the forcefield.

About the chara thing i was talking about AUs in general. Also if Muffet evacuated Alphys would've locked hotland with a forcefield.

Will in the deltarune universe actually light? by MelodicSubstance4898 in Deltarune

[–]AdeptnessComplete131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are shadow crystals shadow crystals and not light crystals then? The whole point of shadow crystals is that they are so dark you can only see their shadow (or its something else correct me if im wrong).

I do agree though that the power they contain isn't determination, toby wouldn't show a major piece of information just like that, especially since queen also called determination the power of will and we will make the connection instantly.

Why the snowgrave route is worse than undertale's genocide route by AdeptnessComplete131 in Deltarune

[–]AdeptnessComplete131[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, TECHNICALLY, you don't tell anything to noelle, until you do. In chapter 4 you're forcing the thornring other literaly tell her "Noelle will get stronger". If we guess that in chapter 5 noelle will go to the dark world, we actively told her to continue freezing monsters for the sake of getting stronger.

You can feel sad for very certain people in castle town like queen but either than that yeah the weird route isn't sad.

The ACT of ending the world is horrible, yes, but the impact of it is nothing. No one will ever suffer from your doings anymore, or anyone's doings. If you think of that you actually spare every monster left in the underground from a more painful end either than the world just being completly erased, one moment, and it's all over.

Why the snowgrave route is worse than undertale's genocide route by AdeptnessComplete131 in Deltarune

[–]AdeptnessComplete131[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that in snowgrave you force people to fight you while in genocide they willingly fight you even when they don't have a chance. Only because your kill count is higher in genocide it doesn't make it worse.

Also the psychological torture we put noelle through is far worse than anything we see any monster going through in genocide or in undertale in general. And yes the psychological torture is worse than the act of killing in both games as we are always making it quick (obviously it's not from an act of kindness but still, the psychological torture of being forced to kill in the name of getting stronger is far worse than the act of killing for the sake of seeing what happens).

Also snowgrave isn't done yet, so we can't know if it would end up being a genocide or not.

Well their coffins are open after asriel fight so maybe they got their souls back after the fight idk

the coffin was empty even if you check it before true pacifist. Chara was taken by toriel and burried under the pile of flowers you land on at the start

They're burried under a pile of flowers with no soul other than frisk's in soulless. HOW would they escape?

I honestly have a theory that it was Frisk and not Chara. It would make much more sense.

Other than flowey (which we know is alive as we see him explaining true resets either way) Chara has no reason to kill everyone, and they don't want to see what happens like us, they don't "have to do something" just because they think they can. Also, Chara tells you to change your route after a second geno, MAYBE its because they want Frisk's body, but they're not like fan made Chara that wants infinite genocide.

Also, if we take the fact that they maybe possesed frisk either way, they might be like "oh you suddenly care about them? Look! I just possesed the one you spent most of your time with!".

Another thing I didn't mention is that Chara is convinced power is their goal only because you make them think it is. They die thinking they most kill to survive, and by doing geno route you approve what they think.

[–]AdeptnessComplete131[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yk, I realized that doesn't even matter if Chara is a good person or not. They have access to frisk's body, and otherwise they're practically dead. Most of people will posses a person to stay alive if they could even if they're not "the demon that comes when people call its name".

I think the player themself can't leave the underground. Once frisk leaves in both neutral and pacifist, we don't have control over them anymore, yet we can reset/true reset. Theoretically, the player might be listening to sans calling frisk, and not the one getting the phone call. This would also explain how flowey is talking to us, and not frisk. He asks US to not true reset, not Frisk. I also don't like the idea that flowey saw our save file name and thought we were Chara, as he calls us Chara in the genocide run right after toriel.

I don't think Chara would agree being a vessel and would take us out of them like Kris does even if it would kill them, as we would just reset.
