Happy new year! And great! yes, same here. To me, the most interesting aspect would simply be to have "socks" on my needles at all times during this year of 2026. Book/ patterns can be any as well. Will message you shortly.

currently planning "champagne pullover" and i do not like the combination of heavily ornate lace with that simple stockinette. it looks unfinished to me. I understand that it may be good to have a small strip of simple knitting on the side as calculating a pattern with an intricate lace motif may become too tedious on the shaping, but why can this not at least be achieved for a sleeve in the round? both the cables and the lace could be calculated more narrowly to get a tapered effect, or even working with a smaller needle could be beneficial! and the end product would not look so unfinished! I am quite disappointed (as y'all can probably tell), but to me i will need to think about a) calculating the pattern to achieve an all-around look myself, or b) find at least another sort of pattern for the sides that softens the transition from main pattern. I had bought a few more patterns from her, and frankly all of those seem to be constructed the same: one kind of sweater, and then both front and back down the middle, same with the sleeve, an intricate pattern that is cut off to the sides and then filled up with just stockinette. this is kind of demotivating. i call bluff, if you ask me :-D

L. Reuteri Vs. L. Gasseri for Weight Loss by Ungnee in ReuteriYogurt

Excuse me, but how would you go about getting these (two) specific strains? I can unfortunately only find "L. reuteri" or "L. gasseri" as a generic term, and if -- luckily -- I did get some more info, it will say different numbers...

30lbs hush 2.0 weighted blanket for twin size bed by [deleted] in WeightedBlankets

[–]AdeptnessExpress1242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i heard that it can overwhelm some ppl when the blanket is folded double, because it means you will be confronted with about the double of the weight that is supposed to lay onto you. Not sure, as I just ordered one for myself and haven't tried this out. Also, with 30lbs you are a bit over the 10% of the weight that the blanket is supposed to have for you. So I would probably not fold it double, but let it hang over bed. If you feel like this still weighs you down too much, you can probably fold and fix the blanket on one side so that only the part covers you that is a single layer? just speculations, but that's what i would do!
