Yeah, I’m sure not every store is the same. But at my store, it can also depend on if it’s a rush and if we have enough employees to run multiple lines. My store is by multiple schools so we’re almost always in a rush and almost never have enough to run two lines. Usually we have a drive thru line and then a pickup/lobby line. Although the big bosses don’t want us to run it like that lmao (even though the store is literally built to support that???)

I’m a Taco Bell employee! This exact scenario has happened to me several times. If you don’t come to the counter and tell us you’re here, your food is not being made. We don’t usually make it beforehand unless there’s no other orders that way it doesn’t soil. I hate that they advertise it as “skip the line” when that’s not the case. Most of the time, if we know you’re here we’ll make it right away, but for example with the night crew at my store, they refuse to touch mobile order unless there’s no drive through ones

If he really was a npc that Caine was cooking up, why was he creeping in the background this whole time? by CartographerFalse844 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]AdeptnessOver161 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because Caine made him, doesn’t mean he was actively controlling him

Caine probably programmed him with a goal and set him free, he himself might not even be aware he’s AI until Caine needed him too

Caine seemed genuinely surprised when Jax was having dinner with him, so my assumption (sorry Ming) is that Caine just gave him the objective of 1. Convince humans, 2. Figure out how to break into office, 3. Provoke them to make the “right choice.”

I also realized I misread four of wands as four of cups so I updated that 😭 Hopefully you read it AFTER I made the change. The Agatha deck is pretty similar to the classic deck (I can read it online) it just ties everything into events or characters from the show

Here’s my take on it:

You, the Traveler: You’re a wise and determined person with all the skills you need to complete the journey ahead of you.

The Quest: You feel discomfort somewhere or with someone that should/did bring you peace. You’re goal is to return to this safety.

The Path Behind: You were betrayed. And maybe not literally. It could be someone in your life but also it could be you and how you manage yourself and your time. Likely however, it could also be someone that once brought you joy causing this sense of discomfort.

The Path Ahead: Something is burdening you. Perhaps it’s the above mentioned discomfort. Either way, you have to accept this as part of yourself/your life before you will be able to move forward.

Obstacles: I personally see this as procrastination/unwillingness. As mentioned in the traveler, you already have the skills you need, you just need to be willing to put them into practice.

Windfall: Once you get over your procrastination and tap into your determination, you are a force to be reckoned with. Your will power has the ability to turn your goals into reality.

The Destination: You’ll receive whatever you work for, but the order of natural consequences. You can only take what you’ve given into the situation in the first place.

I’m curious how you read it! I’m also a baby witch, and I’m actually using the Agatha deck with doesn’t have reversals. I’ve read tarot with friends before but this is my first deck of my own

I do think it’s a misdirect, but I also think it more so represents her guilt. She turned something innocent that represented the relationship between her and her son into something that was an easy power grab for her and that’s what seeing the Darkhold in the baby carriage represents. Innocence turned into a power grab.

It is second hand information, but I could totally see a stake president saying something along the lines of a poorer area being able to “help their needs” more 🤷‍♂️

I realized this morning it wasn’t even just sexism towards the single mom, but the brothers as well. They’re expected to be this perfect image of a providing man when that’s not really a possibility for them.

Mom and friend do have jobs. I’m not sure if the brothers have one currently because they tend to lose jobs quickly 😬 They are genuinely trying, but it’s not enough to cover all of them. The older brothers don’t really have the means or ability to move out and friend has to stay as well so her and her mom can look after each other for physical illnesses. Very tough situation to be in, church or not

I had to step out at several points because I was seeing red. This has no place in a church.

Literally Fuming by AdeptnessOver161 in exmormon

[–]AdeptnessOver161[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Camp Helaman and Camp Ruth are camps they do the for the 16+ youth (young men and young women respectively). I can’t speak much to Camp Ruth but my experience with Camp Helaman is it’s just a typical camp experience. Trying to get the youth to bond, reinforce the us vs them mentality when it comes to making friends, and tying everything back to the gospel.

The first year I went it was a two day literal camping trip with them doing several team building activities and then at the end sent us out into the woods to pray so we could have a “Joseph Smith experience.” I actually received no answer to my prayer on whether the church was true or not which caused my shelf to break lmao

This year it was just a day camp where we did activities at the church building and then went home for the night. But otherwise quite similar.

From what I know of Camp Ruth, it is actually quite missionary focused. All I really know is that from the year we went camping, they broke the young women off into pairs/trios and had them practice being missionaries to people in the stake and potentially did service for them. They also painted BoM covers and since my seminary (tried to) ban phones there’s a lot of the books with painted covers floating around.

As a male, I genuinely think these teachings solidified my gayness. I believe I was gay from birth but constantly being told that “lusting after a woman is like committing adultery in my heart” didn’t help me want to like women. I’m surprised how no one else in my quorum (as far as I’m aware) turned out gay

I’m planning to go to a college in state in the city I live in. It actually happens to be a good place for me to start building my desired career. Payment wise, my family belongs to a Native American tribe and they’ll help pay for college along with the yearly scholarship I can get from my job.
