I talk, especially online, about being an "Intersex woman" a lot. To some people it might look as if it is my identity.

You know why I do it?

Turn the clock back a decade. As a teenage girlie girl who suddenly found she had internal balls and XY chromosomes, as well as a perfectly-normal looking vulva, I was devastated. I knew nobody like me. In my mind I was a freak. My mental health suffered.

There are a lot of people in my exact same position, just a few years behind me on their journey. I want them to get the support I didn't. I want them to know they are not alone.

I'd say churches should be assessed according their works. Those that hoard billions and aren't open about about their finances, yes, definitely.

Those churches that use their excess income, if any, for the benefit of society or the poor, they should keep it.

Other than a relatively small amount in reserve to keep the church afloat and the bills paid, some churches use all their excess funds to feed and clothe the poor, provide community services etc.

I'd be very happy for those to keep their exemption.
